2018 Inland Empire Football Student Section Top 20 Rankings

It should come to no surprise, but the Inland Empire is the deepest when it comes to Student Sections in Southern California.

The top of the list was tough as you have the top eight student sections on this list that could be the best student section in the IE at any time while the bottom of the list might be missing several other student sections.

It is no wonder that the Inland Empire had five student sections winning the SoCal Student Section of the Week. That’s the most out of the four SoCal regions.

Thanks for making this hard for me!

This week will end with the SoCal Top 25 Student Section Rankings on Friday, so for the top half of the student section, be ready, you might be on that list too.

Now, we will return with student section hoopla in January for the basketball student section, but always show us love on Twitter (@SoCalSections) and start letting us know who has the best Basketball Student Section in the OC and SoCal.

Now, let’s crown our winner!

2018 INLAND EMPIRE FOOTBALL STUDENT SECTION TOP 20 RANKINGS

1. RANCHO CUCAMONGA (RANCHO ROOTERS)

The Rancho Rooters have always been an insane crowd. I can’t imagine how insane they are at the moment with the Cougars riding a seven game winning streak.

The Rancho Rooters must have gone nuts when their Cougars defeated Upland to take the Baseline League title. It’s not like the Rooters need a boost or anything.

The big win over the Scots pushed the Rooters to take the final SoCal Football Student Section of the Week title.

The sea of purple, the dancing and cheering are always top notch, but it is more impressive to stick by your football team after an 0-4 start to the season.

The Cougars are on a roll and now, the Rancho Cucamonga Rooters are on top as the 2018 Inland Empire Student Section Champions

2. VISTA MURRIETA (BRONCO BLEACHER CREATURES)

The Vista BBC knows how to party in the stands. Bring on the fog machine, the jumping, the DJ and the non-stop chants and cheers. This is a crazy group of creatures.

The Vista BBC took one of our 11 SoCal Football Student Section of the Week, during Week nine, but it was bound to happen.

In return, the Broncos gave them the Southwestern League title.

3. CENTENNIAL OF CORONA (DAWGPOUND)

The Dawgpound took the SoCal Student Section of the Week award for Week Four and what is tough for the Dawgpound is to stay alive in the stands because their Huskies always have a lopsided lead by halftime.

The Dawgpound stays strong and loud despite the big Centennial lead. The t-shirt toss (which almost destroyed my laptop last season, thanks for the scare!) and the loud cheers kept the Dawgpound at the same level as their football team.

It’s not over yet for Centennial on the field and in the stands.

4. MURRIETA VALLEY (RED ZONE)

The Red Zone stayed the course with their usual loud noise, cheers and baby powder. The sea of red has rocked it this season. You have to go crazy if you have one of the best quarterbacks in California in Hank Bachmeier.

6. GREAT OAK OF TEMECULA (RED WAVE)

The Red Wave is a top student section and it’s tough to pack the stadium with the Wolfpack in rebuilding mode. Despite the young Great Oak squad playing with a tough schedule, the Red Wave still showed their love and support for their team.

6. MURRIETA MESA (MESA BEAST)

The Mesa Beast is crazy group in green shirts that rocked the stands. They had to give any edge to their Rams in a very tough Southwestern League.

7. SANTIAGO OF CORONA (BLACK SEA)

The Black Sea is a well noticed student section. Some other student section have left the game impressed with the Black Sea. I’m sure the Sharks have been impressed and thankful for their support they get from their student section.

8. UPLAND (DOG POUND)

The Dogpound always has something to cheer about when the Scots take the field. The Scots consistently win and so does their student section.

9. ETIWANDA (RED ZONE)

The Red Zone is a rowdy bunch and has been one of the top football student sections for quite awhile. The Red Zone stepped up for their Eagles during a tough Baseline League.

10. TEMECULA VALLEY (GOLD ZONE)

The Gold Zone definitely enjoyed a much improved season from the Golden Bears. The Gold Zone was always a great student section, but the last few years have been tough for them and the football team, but both are back with talent and loud noises.

11. HERITAGE OF ROMOLAND (THE PATRIOT PIT)

I’ve seen The Patriot Pit a few times and they are a loud one. Even more so during The Menifee Bowl. The Patriot Pit is enjoying another huge year from their football team this season and The Pit played another big role this season.

12. RAMONA OF RIVERSIDE (ROWDY RAMS)

Where did this student section come from? The Rowdy Rams was one of the most improved student sections this season. The cheers were great and the dancing battles were even better.

This student section matched the talent on the football field. Great showing from the Rowdy Rams and even better sportsmanship. Plus, their social media is one of the best in SoCal and in the world of technology, that is a must for student sections, market your student section!

13. PALOMA VALLEY OF MENIFEE (MAROON PLATOON)

This is one of the better student section during rivalry play. The Maroon Platoon packs the stands every year for The Menifee Bowl.

14. NORCO (COUGAR DEN)

The Den are enjoying yet another fantastic season from their Cougars. Give credit to the Norco football team to give plenty of reasons to get The Den going.

15. LOS OSOS OF RANCHO CUCAMONGA (GRIZZLY NATION)

Grizzly Nation took the first SoCal Student Section of the Week. This is an insane student section…or a club, you’re never sure at Los Osos because they dance throughout the game a lot.

16. OAK HILLS OF HESPERIA (DAWGPOUND)

The Dawgpound took the Week Five SoCal Student Section of the Week title. I’m sure having the Mojave River League title on the field is a big plus.

17. CAJON OF SAN BERNARDINO COWBOYS

When you have QB Jayden Daniels leading the way on the field, you have plenty to cheer about in the stands.

18. CHAPARRAL OF TEMECULA PUMAS

The Pumas made the playoffs out of the Southwestern League which gave their student section plenty to cheer about.

19. TEMESCAL CANYON OF LAKE ELSINORE (BLUE HOLE)

The Blue Hole united and came strong for their Titans as they get deeper in the CIF-SS Division VIII playoffs.

20. ONTARIO (JAG JUNGLE)

The Jag Jungle is great student section that doesn’t get enough recognition. Luckily, their Jaguars noticed this season, which is the one that matters the most.
