STUDENT SECTION BATTLE OF THE WEEK

Del Oro Black Hole of Loomis at Rocklin Storm, 7pm

The Black Hole and the Storm are looking like top candidates for the Northern California Football Student Section Championship! Social media is on point and from what we see, both student sections are insane!

ARIZONA STUDENT SECTION BATTLES

Saguaro Zoo of Scottsdale at Chaparral Birdcage of Scottsdale, Friday, 7pm

Both student section are probably going to battle to see which student section is better in Scottsdale. The Birdcage showed up big a couple weeks ago, but i’m expecting the Zoo to go wild. Should be a good one on Friday.

Liberty Uproar of Peoria at Chandler Blue Crew, Friday, 7pm

Uproar is a solid volleyball student section, but they also can rock it in the stands during football season. The Blue Crew has been consistent, but they best be ready for the Uproar to come to town on Friday. By the way, social media is your friend. Show off those student sections.

Notre Dame Prep Dogpound of Scottsdale at Brophy Prep Stampede of Phoenix, Friday, 7pm

The battle of the Prep schools with the Dogpound and the Stampede. The Stampede is solid and many have said what a great student section they are, but we have been noticing the Dogpound more and more on the volleyball side. I’m becoming more of a Dogpound fan now. Let’s see if they can rock it on the football side.

Hamilton of Chandler at Centennial of Peoria, Friday, 7pm

Hamilton is coming off an instant classic of a comeback over Bishop Gorman of Las Vegas, so we expect the Hamilton student section to take that hype onto this game on Friday. Centennial knows how much their football team needs them facing a Hamilton squad with huge momentum.

Shadow Ridge of Surprise at Basha Bear Nation of Chandler, Friday, 7pm

Bear Nation has been on a roll and will be ready for Shadow Ridge on Friday. Shadow Ridge has showed off their school spirit, but not as much as Basha.

NEVADA STUDENT SECTION BATTLES

Arbor View Greatful Red of Las Vegas at Bishop Gorman G-Block of Las Vegas

The Greatful Red, which by the way is a great name for a student section, is the defending Nevada Football Student Section of the Week champs, but they will be needed this week in a big way as the Aggies face Bishop Gorman on the road. The Geals lost last week and are looking to bounce back. The G-Block knows that they will be needed on Friday.

Damonte Ranch Blue Hole of Reno at Reno

Another city rivalry and we have seen the back and forth from these two student sections, but what I have also seen is the Blue Hole. Fantastic student section that knows how to work social media. Reno needs to take a page from the Blue Hole when it comes to marketing.

Centennial Dawgpound of Las Vegas at Desert Pines of Las Vegas

These are two student sections we have heard of, but haven’t seen yet on social media. It would be nice to see these two student sections go at it on Friday and a bonus if they share it with everyone on social media.

Legacy of North Las Vegas at Canyon Springs of Las Vegas

Here are another two student sections that we haven’t seen on social media or have rarely seen. Word of mouth has said these two student sections are fantastic. Now,if they can show it off on social media, that would be helpful.

Reed Raider Nation of Sparks at Douglas of Minden

Raider Nation isn’t just in Las Vegas as Reed will travel to Minde. Douglas is a solid student section, but they better be ready for Reed.

NORTHERN CALIFORNIA STUDENT SECTION BATTLES

Granite Bay Den at Oak Ridge OZONE of El Dorado Hills, Friday, 7pm

The Den has been rocking and probably the best student section to not win the NorCal Student Section of the Week title, but they are due. The OZONE has been just as solid and we should expect a huge turnout!

Christian Brothers of Sacramento at Capital Christian Blue Crew of Sacramento, Friday, 7pm

Both Christian private schools have rowdy student sections and will battle in Sac Town! Seeing them on social media is great and more so when they are rocking the stands! Nothing should be different on Friday!

Franklin of Elk Grove vs. Pleasant Grove of Elk Grove at Sheldon of Sacramento, Friday, 7:15pm

Two great student sections from Elk Grove will battle. Haven’t heard much from both student sections, but when we do, they have rocked it! Hoping to see more from the two on Friday!

Edison of Fresno vs. Buchanan Red Riot of Clovis at McLane of Fresno, Friday, 7:30pm

Red Riot is probably one of the best student sections in the CIF-Central Section, but perhaps Edison has a say on this? One thing is certain, social media is your friend. Market your school spirit!

Yuba City at River Valley of Yuba City, Friday, 7:15pm

The city of Yuba City might closed down to check this game out! According to my friend Cameron Salerno of the Sacramento Bee, this is one of the best rivalries in NorCal! Haven’t seen both student sections on social media, but that might be on me for not digging deeper in the social media accounts! Hope to see what unfolds on Friday.

SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA STUDENT SECTION BATTLES

INLAND EMPIRE STUDENT SECTION BATTLES

Chino Hills Dawgpound at Chino Cowboy Country, Friday, 7pm

Following a huge night where they brought the Milk Can back home, Cowboy Country has another rivalry game. Not as huge as the Don Lugo rivalry, but their neighbors down the 71 Freeway wants to take down Chino. Cowboy Country will need to take that momentum from last week into this game and battle with the Dawgpound!

Los Osos Grizzly Nation of Rancho Cucamonga at Alta Loma Blue Crew, Friday, 7pm

Grizzly Nation is on point as always, but will they travel and let the Blue Crew know what’s up? Blue Crew hasn’t been seen as much this year, but they are a solid student section.

Roosevelt Stampede of Eastvale at Chaparral Green Fanatics of Temecula, Friday, 7pm

The Green Fanatics have been fantastic this season and Eastvale isn’t that far away, so perhaps we see the Stampede on the road. If they do travel, be ready for the Fanatics!

Carter of Rialto at Citrus Valley of Redlands, Friday, 7pm

Citrus Valley has been quiet on social media before, but we are noticing them and they look like a solid student section! Not sure if Carter has a student section or if they travel, but Citrus Valley should be ready!

Indio at Cathedral City Black Hole, Friday, 7pm

CatCity is on a roll this season, but I haven’t seen the Block Hole yet. They have to be in the stands for this amazing start to the season. They play Indio and will have to be ready to rattle Indio!

Los Angeles

Birmingham Patriot Pack of Van Nuys at Oaks Christian Lions Den of Westlake Village, Friday, 7pm

Both teams are off to slow start and need all the help they can get. Not sure if the Patriot Pack will travel, but they better if they want to see Birmingham get their first win! The Lions Den will be there of course with the same goal in mind!

West Torrance at Redondo Union Flock of Redondo Beach, Friday, 7pm

West Torrance student section won’t have to travel far and we know they are pretty good in getting rowdy, but be ready for the Flock as they are solid! There will be noise aplenty near the beach on Friday!

St. Bonaventure Gates of Heaven of Ventura, at Crespi Cabana of Encino, Friday, 7pm

St. Bonaventure is on fire this season and that has to be an attraction for the Gates of Heaven as they could travel and battle with the Cabana! Hoping for once we see both student sections on social media.

Damien Pit of La Verne at Bishop Amat Dawgpound of La Puente, Friday, 7pm

Damien Pit is enjoying a great season I’m sure, but will they travel and battle with the Dawgpound! The Dawgpound had a great showing this past Friday and I’m sure they’ll rinse and repeat! Hoping the Pit works social media for once on Friday!

Monrovia at San Dimas, Friday, 7pm

San Dimas student section has been showing off their school spirit this season and we expect nothing different on Friday when Monrovia comes to town! Visiting student section or not, San Dimas will be rocking!

ORANGE COUNTY STUDENT SECTION BATTLES

Tesoro Titan Army of Rancho Santa Margarita at El Toro Bullring of Lake Forest, Friday, 7pm

El Toro is the most improved team in Orange County, but they have a huge test on Friday and will need the Bullring to step it up! The Bull Ring has been on fire this season, but this is a huge game!

JSerra Lion Nation of San Juan Capistrano at Newport Harbor Tarpit of Newport Beach, Friday, 7pm

Lion Nation has been on a roll on social media. It has caught up with the insanity that takes place behind the JSerra end zone, but will they travel? The Tarpit knows that the Sailors need a pick-me-up, so we know they’ll be ready!

Canyon Tribe of Anaheim at El Modena Rowdy Rooters of Orange, Friday, 7pm

The Rowdy Rooters are back again at Fred Kelly Stadium, but the Tribe will be back as well! Social media will be rocking as well as both sides of the stadium!

Woodbridge Tribe of Irvine at Laguna Hills, Friday, 7pm

The Tribe and Hawks Nest have been on a roll this season, but will the Tribe show up on the road? Hawks Nest will be ready and we know social media will be in attendance as well to see one or two rowdy student sections.

Villa Park Black Pack vs. Vista Murrieta Bronco Bleacher Creatures at El Modena of Orange, Saturday, 3pm

I’m wondering if the Black Pack will show up on a Saturday afternoon! Major props if they do! They better let me know because I live a few minutes away from Fred Kelly Stadium and I’ll be there for that! More so if the Bronco Bleacher Creatures travel on a Saturday afternoon! That would be a bigger props if they do that!

SAN DIEGO STUDENT SECTION BATTLES

Eastlake Titan Army of Chula Vista at El Camino Jungle of Oceanside, Friday, 7pm

This could be a drive for the Titan Army, but the Jungle will be ready, Titan Army or not. Haven’t seen much of the Jungle this season, but they have rocked it in the past!

Olympian Eagles Nest of Chula Vista at Oceanside Ship, Friday, 7pm

Another school from Chula Vista will travel to Oceanside, but will their student section make the trip with the football team? The Ship has been solid once again and we expect the Ship to set sail with or without a student section battle.

Cathedral Catholic Los Locos San Diego at Steele Canyon Cougar Den Spring Valley, Friday, 7pm

Might be a tough drive for Los Locos, but it wouldn’t surprise me if they were road warriors. The Cougar Den will be there, not sure I’ll hold my breath on them sharing their school spirit on social media, but they’ll be there.

St. Augustine Saints Pit of San Diego at Mater Dei of Chula Vista, Friday, 7pm

Saints Pit can travel and perhaps will travel to rattle Mater Dei (of Chula Vista). I’m sure Mater Dei will be ready for a possible student section battle!

Rancho Buena Vista at Mt. Carmel Red Sea of San Diego, Friday, 7pm

The Red Sea hasn’t been seen as much on social media, but when previous SoCal Football Student Section of the Week winner, Patrick Henry Hooligans, is saying that Mt. Carmel Red Sea needs more love. More social media will do that and the Red Sea needs to be consistent on that part.

OREGON STUDENT SECTION BATTLES

Lakeridge of Lake Oswego at South Medford, Friday, 7pm

Lakeridge is a solid student section. One of the best in Oregon. Honestly, South Medford is a bit behind from Lakeridge, so this game would be huge for the South Medford student section. As for Lakeridge, keep doing what you’re doing. I’m impressed!

West Salem at Tualatin Tiberwolf Nation, Friday, 7pm

I’ve only seen Tualatin on social media once, but that’s one more than West Salem. Word of mouth is these two school have great student sections. Hoping to see these two rock it on social media.

Southridge of Beaverton at Beaverton, Friday, 7pm

Beaverton has a home game, which means Beaverton football has a massive advantage. At this moment, Beaverton is the best football student section in Oregon. Plenty of time for that to change and perhaps the Southridge student section will travel and battle with Beaverton. Beaverton is solid.

Summit of Bend at Sprague Superfans of Salem, Friday, 7pm

The Sprague Superfans are amazing and have worked social media well. One of Oregon’s best student sections will be at home and we shall see if the Summit student section will be rocking on the road. Haven’t seen Summit on social media and I’m hoping that changes on Friday.

Camas at West Linn, Friday, 7pm

Camas won the Washington Student Section of the Week last week. I don’t think they still know as communication is their weak spot, but they know how to market their student section. West Linn has photos and videos from the past and looked solid, but I have yet to see anything from them this season. Marketing is key for the West Linn student section  as they host on Friday!

WASHINGTON STUDENT SECTION BATTLES

Gig Harbor at Central Kitsap of SIlverdale, Friday, 7pm

Gig Harbor won the Washington Student Section of the Week, but now they’re on the road. Are they road warriors or will Central Kitsap be alone on Friday? We may not know since Centeal Kitsap doesn’t work social media. Hoping that changes.

Mount Si of Snoqualmie at Skyline of Sammamish, Friday, 7pm

Skyline was impressive last week and we hope they have an encore at home. Will Mount Si travel on Friday? Will they work social media? I guess we’ll have to find out.

Walla Walla at Kamiakin of Kennewick, Friday, 7pm

Kamiakin knows how to show off their student section. They may not know how to vote for student section of the week, but they know how to market. They’ll be at home and if Walla Walla shows up, they’ll be ready. Hoping we see Walla Walla on social media soon.

Mead of Spokane at Gonzaga Prep of Spokane, Friday, 7pm

Gonzaga Prep has popped in here and there on social media. From what I recall, not a bad student section. They’ll be at home on Friday, so we shall see if Mead will hit the road or social media!

MF West of Chehalls at Tumwater, Friday, 7pm

Haven’t seen Tumwater rock the stands on social media, but they have in the past. I’m sure they will be ready to roll on Friday. Not sure if MFW will head on the road
