After many student section went to social media to show off their student section with school spirit through video or photo. After naming 11 Student Sections as the SoCal Student Section of the week and rankings 20 of the best student section in each SoCal region (Inland Empire, Los Angeles, Orange County and San Diego), we have finally put our first SoCal Football Student Section Rankings.

Last Week, we had each of the Student Section of the year from each SoCal region put in a voting poll and the votes were very close, but in the end it was the Rancho Rooters of Rancho Cucamonga.

Here are the final 2018 SoCal Football Student Section Top 25 Rankings. Enjoy or not, the choice is yours.

2018 SOCAL FOOTBALL STUDENT SECTION TOP 25 RANKINGS

1. RANCHO CUCAMONGA (RANCHO ROOTERS)

2. VILLA PARK (THE BLACK PACK)

The Black Pack packed the stands at every home game, but what was more impressive was their road trips. The Black Pack were road warriors. No trip was too far for them, even on 3-day weekend where traffic is a problem in Southern California.

No streamers, no fog machines, or baby powder was needed as Fred Kelly Stadium wouldn’t permit it. The Black Pack had a disadvantage and still rocked it better than anyone.

The Black Pack, which was the only OC Student Section to win the SoCal Student Section of the Week will now see if they’re the 2018 SoCal Football Student Section of the year, but for now, the Black Pack is the Orange County Football Student Section Champion of 2018.

3. BISHOP AMAT OF LA PUENTE (DAWGPOUND)

It sounds like the Dawgpound is back!

The Dawgpound had somewhat of an off year last season. Well, off year in their standards, but they came back and dominated the student section world!

No one rock more baby powder than the Dawgpound. The same could be said for the streamers!

The Dawgpound took the Week 2 SoCal Student Section of the Week award and was just the beginning for this student section and their Lancers, who took the Mission League title.

One of the best student sections in SoCal year after year take the top spot this year. The Bishop Amat Dawgpound is the 2018 Los Angeles Football Student Section of the year.

4. CARLSBAD (THE LOUD CROWD)

Processed with VSCO with a6 preset

So is The Loud Crowd a student section or some sort of unique dance club? It’s a party in Carlsbad when the ball kicks off.

The Loud Crowd isn’t just a clever, this is a loud bunch and they don’t need the extra boost, but the streamers, the baby powder, the fog machine and the music makes it even better.

The Loud Crowd had one really tough competitor, but let the Purple Reign this football season as the Loud Crowd takes the 2018 SoCal Student Section San Diego Football title!

5. LOS ALAMITOS (LOS LOCOS)

Los Locos was just that, crazy! No one rocks a better roller coaster than Los Locos. They have also parted the red sea. Not the actual red sea but the sea of red in the stands. Los Locos have also shown love for their local reporters with cardboard cut-outs.

Los Locos always rocks it and it was tough to keep them out of the top spot.

6. SOUTH HILLS OF COVINA (DAWGPOUND)

The Huskies are undefeated and in a way, so was their student section.

The Week 7 SoCal Student Section of the Week fills up the stadium and enjoys not only the football game, but the party they create in the stands.

The streamers, cheers and everything else made this season a special for the Dawgpound.

7. TORREY PINES OF SAN DIEGO (CHAOS)

The Chaos isn’t just a clever name and yes, I have used that line twice now.

The Chaos have caused a ruckus this season and they have also possibly played a factor in the Falcons undefeated season. The Loud noise and the insanity was in attendance at every home game.

With a bullseye on Torrey Pines back, expect The Chaos to turn it up a notch as the title goes through Torrey Pines.

8. VISTA MURRIETA (BRONCO BLEACHER CREATURES)

The Vista BBC knows how to party in the stands. Bring on the fog machine, the jumping, the DJ and the non-stop chants and cheers. This is a crazy group of creatures.

The Vista BBC took one of our 11 SoCal Football Student Section of the Week, during Week nine, but it was bound to happen.

In return, the Broncos gave them the Southwestern League title.

9. CAPISTRANO VALLEY OF MISSION VIEJO (THE CAGE)

The Cage sure loves the baby powder. It seemed every week they had a different color of baby powder. The streamers made several appearances as well. The Cage rocked it and has been the top South Orange County student section this year. This will definitely shift well for basketball season.

10. SERVITE OF ANAHEIM (THE ASYLUM)

The Asylum is one of the premier student sections in Southern California. A band of brothers had the most unique themes.

The Asylum went to the moon surfed it up, they hit the weight room and went with a pink out on top of their school colors.

This student section is on another level during basketball. Be ready. Credo!

11. CENTENNIAL OF CORONA (DAWGPOUND)

The Dawgpound took the SoCal Student Section of the Week award for Week Four and what is tough for the Dawgpound is to stay alive in the stands because their Huskies always have a lopsided lead by halftime.

The Dawgpound stays strong and loud despite the big Centennial lead. The t-shirt toss (which almost destroyed my laptop last season, thanks for the scare!) and the loud cheers kept the Dawgpound at the same level as their football team.

It’s not over yet for Centennial on the field and in the stands.

12. CHAMINADE OF WEST HILLS (THE CAGE)

The Cage always packs the house and supported the Eagles in a tough season for them this year. The sea of Orange in the stands was as bright as the blue field.

13. ST. JOHN BOSCO OF BELLFLOWER (THE TRIBE)

The Tribe has made some big improvement this season as they are enjoying another big season from their Braves. It helps when you get to finally get to watch your team in your brand new stadium.

14. CATHEDRAL CATHOLIC OF SAN DIEGO (LOS LOCOS)

Los Locos was just that this season, crazy! They can fill up the seats and with a fantastic season from the Dons are having. Los Locos are loud and proud, which is perfect for the Open Division playoffs.

15. MURRIETA VALLEY (RED ZONE)

The Red Zone stayed the course with their usual loud noise, cheers and baby powder. The sea of red has rocked it this season. You have to go crazy if you have one of the best quarterbacks in California in Hank Bachmeier.

16. ST. AUGUSTINE OF SAN DIEGO (SAINTS PIT)

The Saints Pit is a loud bunch and fills the stands. If someone challenges The Pit, you will probably lose. The Pit is a crazy group of kids and have battled in the stands with the best of the them. In return, the Saints have given them another fantastic season.

17. ALEMANY OF MISSION HILLS (WARZONE)

The Warzone is always a fun group, but more so this season with their Warriors having a much better season in 2018. It’s not like The Warzone needed help, but i’m sure they’ll take it.

18. SANTA MARGARITA OF RANCHO SANTA MARGARITA (EAGLES NEST)

If you are the visiting team, you have to face two teams. The Santa Margarita Eagles and the Eagles Nest. They’re a different type of student section.

The Eagles Nest loves to rock either a sea of white or a sea of blue, but the house is packed every home game.

19. GREAT OAK OF TEMECULA (RED WAVE)

The Red Wave is a top student section and it’s tough to pack the stadium with the Wolfpack in rebuilding mode. Despite the young Great Oak squad playing with a tough schedule, the Red Wave still showed their love and support for their team.

20. SAN MARCOS (THE BLUE CREW)

The Blue Crew shows up in full for their Knights. There’s good reason for that, San Marcos is 8-1 and in the semifinals of the CIF-SDS Open Division. I just hope the stands can stay strong because The Blue Crew rocks and shakes them up pretty bad.

21. IRVINE (THE FRONTIER)

The Frontier is the most improved student section in Southern California. They have become a top student section in Orange County. The baby powder, the roller coaster and the loud noises is always impressive and the Frontier have stayed the course with the best of them.

22. MURRIETA MESA (MESA BEAST)

The Mesa Beast is crazy group in green shirts that rocked the stands. They had to give any edge to their Rams in a very tough Southwestern League.

23. LA COSTA CANYON OF CARLSBAD (THE STAMPEDE)

When you have Karson Lippert and company on your side, you can bet you dollar that the Stampede will bring in the noise.

La Costa Canyon always brings it for their home games and should keep the noise going in the postseason.

24.LOS ALTOS OF HACIENDA HEIGHTS (CONQUEROR CRAZIES)

The Conqueror Crazies have always been insane and they started their season off by taking the SoCal Student Section title for Week One. This sea of blue not only rocks their school color, but also rocks the blue baby powder.

25. SANTIAGO OF CORONA (BLACK SEA)

The Black Sea is a well noticed student section. Some other student section have left the game impressed with the Black Sea. I’m sure the Sharks have been impressed and thankful for their support they get from their student section.
