2021-22 LOS ANGELES TOP 25 BASKETBALL STUDENT SECTION RANKINGS

  1. HARVARD-WESTLAKE FANATICS OF STUDIO CITY (2020 RANK: 2)

There was no excuse for the Harvard-Westlake Fanatics as they had one of the best basketball teams in the country, going all the way to the CIF-SS Open Division Finals. The Fanatics showed up every home game and didn’t let Bronny James and Sierra Canyon of Chatsworth get in the way. The Fanatics rocked it this season and for that, they are the Los Angeles Basketball Student Section Champs!

  1. THOUSAND OAKS GREEN HOLE (2020 RANK: 11)

The Green Hole was on top for most of the basketball season. This student section is a beast every winter and they showed no signs of slowing down this season.

  1. ST. ANTHONY SAINTS PIT OF LONG BEACH (2020 RANK: 1)

Another big year for the Saints Pit. Not as insane and hectic when they were the best in LA in 2020, but this was still a crazy group of kids.

  1. NORTE DAME CASTLE OF SHERMAN OAKS (2020 RANK: NOT RANKED) 

The Castle with a big year this season. We don’t see them much as social media isn’t consistent, but the times we saw them, they looked solid. Hoping we see more of them in 2022-23.

  1. CHAMINADE CAGE OF WEST HILLS (2020 RANK: 4)

We saw bits and pieces of the Cage and it was the same rattling group of kids in the Cage. Consistent and fantastic.

  1. BISHOP MONTGOMERY SWAGLET OF TORRANCE (2020 RANK: 7)

The Swaglet saw an improvement from the Knights. Swaglet has fantastic leaders and hopefully, the rest of the student section followed suit. 

  1. BISHOP AMAT DAWGPOUND OF LA PUENTE (2020 RANK: 5)

Dawgpound is always fantastic and are savages at courtside. You make a mistake and the Dawgpound will not let it go. Led by the baseball players, the Dawgpound is a wild one.

  1. NORTHVIEW OF COVINA (2020 RANK: NOT RANKED)

Northview had plenty to cheer about as their Vikings went from the bottom to a deep run in the playoffs. That should give you plenty to cheer and go wild about.

  1. MILLIKAN MOB OF LONG BEACH (2020 RANK: NOT RANKED)

The Mob is having a fantastic season. They showed up this winter as the Rams went to the CIF SoCal Regionals. We hope to see more from the Mob.

  1. ST. FRANCIS DUNGEON OF LA CANADA (2020 RANK: 8)

The Dungeon is a fantastic basketball student section that has stayed the course since they won the first-ever LA Basketball Student Section in 2016-17. Always loud and rowdy!
