We continue our Final Rankings in the 41 states we covered this football season.

To say I’m overwhelmed with the work that comes along with this is an understatement.

We had Student Section of the Week for over 10 weeks and that helped us determine who had the best Student Section and which one wanted it more.

Just showing up in large crowds isn’t enough. It might fool other outlets that don’t cover Student Sections, but not us. We have to know how bad you want and marketing is key.

You will see top-notch Student Sections miss out at the top spot, but we kept saying it over and over and over again, in order to be considered number one, you have to win the Student Section of the Week title. Otherwise, what is the point of having that contest?!

I know Student Sections complain, but remember it’s thousands of Student Sections and only me. Social media is your friend if used correctly.

When we started covering Student Sections in 2015, it began with only Orange County, California. We expanded in 2017 to Southern California before expanding to other states last year. Southern California has a special place for us.

If Student Sections in SoCal didn’t bring the hype, this idea of National Student Section coverage and competition online would never come to exist. Even if we cover 41 states, we still cover Southern California in five different sections.

We finish our SoCal version with a group of Student Sections that is considered Central California as it is separate from the OC, LA, the IE or San Diego. It’s a different breed above these mentioned counties.

Last year, we had the Student Sections in Kern/San Luis Obispo in the Northern California region, but we felt they needed more recognition, so we added a fifth group to the SoCal region. This could change soon to Central California region and have them in the SoCal portion of the voting.

Either way, there are some amazing Student Section in these two areas, especially in the Top 10. The top half of the ranking can be mixed around. All of them are solid!

Let’s check out the Top 30 Football Student Section Rankings in Kern/San Luis Obispo!

First off, terrific name. Maybe I have it wrong, but I hope not because that’s a sick name. This Student Section is a riot regardless. They show up and pack the stands and they go wild!
