2022 REALLY QUICK WEST COAST WINTER STUDENT SECTION PRESEASON RANKINGS

Do you think I would forget about the West Coast states that I saw during football season? Guess again!

With Student Section Report going from only Southern California to 6 regions in 5 states, we are now expanding to 22 regions in 21 states. I am still a one-man show for the most part with no pay, so let’s see if I’m still alive by season’s end.

11 states will be part of the South Region (Oklahoma, Arkansas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama, Georgia, Florida, South Carolina, North Carolina, Tennessee and Kentucky. 10 states, which includes us dividing California into 2 regions, NorCal and SoCal, will be part of the West Region (Washington, Oregon, Utah, Nevada, Northern California, Southern California, Arizona, New Mexico, Texas, Alaska, Hawaii).

We will have or at least try our best to do Student Section of the Week in all 22 regions. We say try because with the pandemic back again, some states might have no student sections. Most may have limited and that’s good enough for us. We will try our best to find the best in every state every week.

What we have been doing recently is Watch List for the States we added on. It would be pointless to do a Watch List for the 5 states we covered in the Fall. Since the Winter Student Section season is underway, we decided to give you a quick preview of our regional Top 15 rankings in each region, including our 5 SoCal regions (We added Kern/San Luis Obispo to SoCal and they will be a Top 10-15). WE WILL HAVE A TOP 40 RANKING FOR EVERY REGION AT THE END OF THE SEASON
