2023 CONNECTICUT FINAL TOP 40 FOOTBALL STUDENT SECTION RANKINGS

The time has come to start ranking 50 states that we covered this football season. 

To say I’m overwhelmed with the work that comes along with this is an understatement.

We had 12 Student Section of the Week winners in Connecticut and that helped us determine who had the best Student Section and which ones wanted it more.

Just showing up in large crowds isn’t enough. It might fool other outlets that don’t cover Student Sections, but not us. We have to know how bad you want it and marketing is key. 

You will see top-notch Student Sections miss out at the top spot, but we kept saying it over and over and over again, in order to be considered number one, you have to win the Student Section of the Week title. Otherwise, what is the point of having that contest?!

I know Student Sections complain, but remember it’s thousands of Student Sections and only me. Social media is your friend if used correctly.

This is our second year covering Football Student Sections in Connecticut.

I feel like we haven’t gotten a solid grasp of Connecticut Student Sections yet, but we have noticed more Student Sections in this state, so we hope to be more accurate.

The Connecticut Football Student Section Champion will move on to Regionals in hopes to get the National Championship banner as voting will now get involved!

So, let’s see who made the list and who is the best in the Constitution State.

2023 CONNECTICUT FINAL TOP 40 FOOTBALL STUDENT SECTION RANKINGS

  1. Newtown Hawks Nest

This was a close one. The Student Section at number two was right there. Both are large Student Sections that show off their school spirit, but in the end the Hawks Nest had the last push. The themes were amazing and so is this Student Section. We’ll see how they’ll fare in Regionals and Nationals, but for now the Newtown Hawks Nest is the 2023 Connecticut Football Student Section of the Year!

  1. Notre Dame Green Machine

It is so tough to keep the Green Machine off of the top spot. This is a fantastic Student Section. Large and crazy group of kids that will be the front runner for the Winter Student Section Rankings!

  1. North Haven Tribe

The Tribe has been huge this season in size and in volume. Clutch Student Section that seems to love Hawaii despite being on the opposite side of the country.

  1. Masuk Red Army

The Red Army came in clutch in 2023 with amazing themes this football season, including a Neon Theme which was apparently done in the dark? Good thing those reflectors were there.

  1. East Haven Hive

The Hive from what I saw on social media, is a colorful and loud Student Section. You don’t want to shake this Hive up!
