The time has come to start ranking 50 states that we covered this football season. 

To say I’m overwhelmed with the work that comes along with this is an understatement.

We had 12 Student Section of the Week winners in Florida and that helped us determine who had the best Student Section and which ones wanted it more.

Just showing up in large crowds isn’t enough. It might fool other outlets that don’t cover Student Sections, but not us. We have to know how bad you want it and marketing is key. 

You will see top-notch Student Sections miss out at the top spot, but we kept saying it over and over and over again, in order to be considered number one, you have to win the Student Section of the Week title. Otherwise, what is the point of having that contest?!

I know Student Sections complain, but remember it’s thousands of Student Sections and only me. Social media is your friend if used correctly.

This is our second year covering Football Student Sections in Florida.

I feel like we haven’t gotten a solid grasp of Florida Student Sections yet, but we got their attention on social media. It was a battle and as it should be. This State is deep when it comes to Student Sections!

The Florida Football Student Section Champion will move on to Regionals in hopes to get the National Championship banner as voting will now get involved!

So, let’s see who made the list and who is the best in the Sunshine State.

2023 FLORIDA FINAL TOP 40 FOOTBALL STUDENT SECTION RANKINGS

  1. Apopka Nest

Let’s be honest, it was there social media marketing that got them over the top in the end. This is a fantastic Student Section that can pack the stands, but they showed off their Student Section more than anyone, well almost anyone, in the state. This Student Section really wanted it and now they have it. We’ll see how they will do in Regionals and Nationals, but for now, the Apopka Nest is your 2023 Florida Football Student Section of the Year!

  1. Deland Dawg Party

It was always a Dawg Party in the Deland Student Section. The Dawg Party really battled hard for the number one spot. Large Student Section that kicks up the crazy up a few notches. Definitely one of the best in the Nation!

  1. Lake Mary

Lake Mary battled for the top spot in Florida. They got off to a solid start on social media and showed off a tremendous group of kids in the stands. Country Theme gave them a nice push. Solid Student Section!

  1. Seminole Tribe

The Tribe comes away with another Top 5 finish and it took a lot of work to get on top of some of the best Student Sections in the South. This is a loud and spirited Student Section!

  1. Lake Brantley

Lake Brantley is a very large Student Section and an insane one at that. Those poor opposing teams. They had to face the team and this Student Section.
