2023 INDIANA FINAL TOP 40 FOOTBALL STUDENT SECTION RANKINGS

The time has come to start ranking 50 states that we covered this football season. 

To say I’m overwhelmed with the work that comes along with this is an understatement.

We had 11 Student Section of the Week winners in Indiana and that helped us determine who had the best Student Section and which ones wanted it more.

Just showing up in large crowds isn’t enough. It might fool other outlets that don’t cover Student Sections, but not us. We have to know how bad you want it and marketing is key. 

You will see top-notch Student Sections miss out at the top spot, but we kept saying it over and over and over again, in order to be considered number one, you have to win the Student Section of the Week title. Otherwise, what is the point of having that contest?!

I know Student Sections complain, but remember it’s thousands of Student Sections and only me. Social media is your friend if used correctly.

This is our second year covering Student Sections in Indiana, so we hope we were accurate.

We are slowly getting to know more and more of this state when it comes to Student Sections. We have found some solid ones this season and we hope to continue to see more fantastic Student Sections in this state in the future. We do know this, this state is loaded with insane and amazing Student Sections. It helps when a TV channel in Indianapolis where the best Student Section in that region gets a banner. That has open the floodgates in regards to school spirit. Hats off to WISH-TV The Zone.

The Indiana Football Student Section Champion will move on to Regionals in hopes to get the National Championship banner as voting will now get involved!

So, let’s see who made the list and who is the best in Hoosier State.

  1. Bishop Chatard Trojan Nation

The large amount of blue and white and the super large banner being surfed around the Student Section is insane. This Student Section wants to be the best and they show it off. So many themes where it is hard to pick my favorite. The Blue and White would have to be my favorite. They want to be the best and now they can battle for a Regional and National Student Section title as Bishop Chatard is your 2023 Indiana Football Student Section of the Year.

  1. Hamilton Southeastern Blue Crew

The Blue Crew has to be one of the largest Student Section in the state. Like Bishop Chatard, the Blue Crew Blue and White is one of the best out there. I did like the USA theme.

  1. Fishers Tiger Cage

The Tiger Cage can pack the stands to the brim. One of the best and the Neon Theme is my favorite. Such an insane Student Section.

  1. New Albany Dogpound

Dogpound is an underlooked Student Section. This is a solid Student Section and loves to rock Red and Black. The banner and themes were amazing. Such a crazy Student Section that can be savages.

  1. Cathedral Irish Nightmare

The Irish Nightmare Neon Theme was my absolute favorite. Such an amazing Student Section that gets another Top 5 finish.
