The time has come to start ranking 50 states that we covered this football season.

To say I’m overwhelmed with the work that comes along with this is an understatement.

We had 12 Student Section of the Week winners in Louisiana and that helped us determine who had the best Student Section and which ones wanted it more.

Just showing up in large crowds isn’t enough. It might fool other outlets that don’t cover Student Sections, but not us. We have to know how bad you want it and marketing is key.

You will see top-notch Student Sections miss out at the top spot, but we kept saying it over and over and over again, in order to be considered number one, you have to win the Student Section of the Week title. Otherwise, what is the point of having that contest?!

I know Student Sections complain, but remember it’s thousands of Student Sections and only me. Social media is your friend if used correctly.

This is our second year covering Football Student Sections in Louisiana, so we hope we were accurate.

I feel like we haven’t gotten a solid grasp of Louisiana Student Sections yet, but we have noticed more Student Sections in this state, so we hope to be more accurate. What helped us this fall is we had someone gives us a revised Top 10 this season, so we thank them for their help.

The Louisiana Football Student Section Champion will move on to Regionals in hopes to get the National Championship banner as voting will now get involved!

So, let’s see who made the list and who is the best in the Bayou State.

  1. Brother Martin

Brother Martin was ranked a bit too low for the preseason Student Section rankings and I’m sure they came in to prove us wrong and they did just that. A very rowdy Student Section as they will look to move deep in Regionals and advance to Nationals as Brother Martin takes the 2023 Louisiana Football Student Section Title!

  1. St. Amant Pit Crew

The Pit Crew battled for the top spot this season and once again come up with a Top 3 finish. Pit Crew is due a Student Section State title. Just as long as they keep the noise at a loud level.

  1. East Ascension Blue Crew

The Blue Crew got off to a strong start and stayed the course with another Top 5 finish. Blue Crew is loud, rowdy and proud.

  1. Catholic Bear Nation

While the chance to go for the threepeat fell short, Bear Nation still kept the rich Student Section tradition alive. I can see this Student Section try to go for that three-peat again.

  1. West Monroe Rebel Nation

Rebel Nation was very impressive. hey showed their Student Section off more than other Student Sections in the state and that is what put them in the Top 5 this season.
