2024 KENTUCKY FINAL TOP 40 FOOTBALL STUDENT SECTION RANKINGS

The time has come to start ranking 50 states that we covered this football season. 

To say I’m overwhelmed with the work that comes along with this is a huge huge understatement.

We had 11 Student Section of the Week winners in Kentucky and that helped us determine who had the best Student Section and which ones wanted it more.

Just showing up in large crowds isn’t enough. It might fool other outlets that don’t cover Student Sections, but not us. We have to know how bad you want it and marketing is key. 

You will see top-notch Student Sections miss out at the top spot, but we kept saying it over and over and over again, in order to be considered number one, you have to win the Student Section of the Week title. Otherwise, what is the point of having that contest?!

I know Student Sections complain but remember it’s thousands of Student Sections and only me. Social media is your friend if used correctly.

A Student Section that doesn’t post videos or photos of there Student Section on a consistent basis is like a tree falling with no one around. It doesn’t make any noise.

This is our third year covering Football Student Sections in Kentucky. We had Oldham County O-Zone winning it in 2022 and Male Dawgpound in 2023.

This is one of those states that is loaded with fantastic Student Sections and some of these Student Sections may make a run in the Student Section playoffs.

We will have 4 Student Sections in Kentucky that will be voting in the Student Section playoffs that will begin soon.

So, let’s see who made the list and who is the best in the Bluegrass State.

2024 KENTUCKY FINAL TOP 40 FOOTBALL STUDENT SECTION RANKINGS

RED = PLAYOFF BOUND

1. Ryle (2023 Rank: 35)

This was a no brainer. Ryle promoted themselves on social media and I can’t blame them for showing off the Student Section on Instagram. Loud, electric and crazy. Ryle dominated this fall. We’ll see how far they will go when they vote in the National Football Student Section playoffs, but for now they’re the 2024 Kentucky Football Student Section of the Year!

2. St. Xavier Rage Cage (2023 Rank: 24)

I can sense the strong brotherhood from the Instagram photos you see of the Rage Cage. They go crazy for their football and prepare to rattle the opponents. The Rage Cage prepares for battle! We’ll see if they can market and promote the voting in the National Football Student Section playoffs!

3. DuPont Manual Crimson Crazies (2023 Rank: 22)

The Crimson Crazies worked their social media magic this season and with a Student Section like this, you would too. They rocked the stands all season long. We’ll see if they can market and promote the voting in the National Football Student Section playoffs!

4. Henderson County Colonial Crazies (2023 Rank: 10)

The Colonial Crazies loved showing off their Student Section on social media. They have been one of the consistent Student Sections in this state for the last couple of years that we covered it. We’ll see if they can market and promote the voting in the National Football Student Section playoffs!

5. Male Dawgpound (2023 Rank: 1)

The Dawgpound came away with another big season in the stands as they land again in the Top 5.
