2024 MASSACHUSETTS FINAL TOP 40 FOOTBALL STUDENT SECTION RANKINGS

The time has come to start ranking 50 states that we covered this football season.

To say I’m overwhelmed with the work that comes along with this is a huge huge understatement.

We had 10 Student Section of the Week winners in Massachusetts and that helped us determine who had the best Student Section and which ones wanted it more.

Just showing up in large crowds isn’t enough. It might fool other outlets that don’t cover Student Sections, but not us. We have to know how bad you want it and marketing is key.

You will see top-notch Student Sections miss out at the top spot, but we kept saying it over and over and over again, in order to be considered number one, you have to win the Student Section of the Week title. Otherwise, what is the point of having that contest?!

I know Student Sections complain but remember it’s thousands of Student Sections and only me. Social media is your friend if used correctly.

A Student Section that doesn’t post videos or photos of there Student Section on a consistent basis is like a tree falling with no one around. It doesn’t make any noise.

This is our second year covering Football Student Sections in Massachusetts. We had Malden Catholic Pit win it in 2023.

We are discovering some Student Sections here. Some of them made some moves up in the rankings in Massachusetts.

We will have 5 Student Sections in Massachusetts that will be voting in the Student Section playoffs that will begin soon.

So, let’s see who made the list and who is the best in the Old Colony State.

Natick Hawks Nest (2023 Rank: 2)

The Nest bounced right back and did a tremendous job in promoting and showing off their Student Section this fall. They shared every chance they got and they won one of the National Student Section of the Week titles. We’ll see how they’ll fare in the National Student Section playoffs that start pretty soon, but for now, they’re the 2024 Massachusetts Football Student Section of the Year!

St. John’s Prep (2023 Rank: 27)

We made an edit. While we didn’t find their main source for Student Section marketing, we couldn’t ignore St. John’s. Shoe in for a Top 5 finish and we can expect them to battle in the Winter Rankings. We’ll see how they’ll fare in the National Student Section playoffs that start pretty soon.

Malden Catholic Pit (2023 Rank: 1)

The Pit looks like a fun crowd. One of the first Student Sections we discovered that has still stayed on our radar this entire time. There’s a reason for that. We’ll see how they’ll fare in the National Student Section playoffs that start pretty soon.

Newburyport (2023 Rank: NR)

Newburyport goes from unranked to not only a Top 5 finish in the Student Section Rankings, but they will also be getting ready for the voting in the National Student Section playoffs on Monday!

Xavierian Brothers Hawks Nest (2023 Rank: 20)

We discovered the Hawks Nest this year and they did not disappoint. They packed the stands and it looks like the White Out Theme was their best theme this season. We’ll see how they’ll fare in the National Student Section playoffs that start pretty soon.
