2024 RHODE ISLAND FINAL TOP 20 FOOTBALL STUDENT SECTION RANKINGS

The time has come to start ranking 50 states that we covered this football season. 

To say I’m overwhelmed with the work that comes along with this is a huge huge understatement.

We had 11 Student Section of the Week winners in Rhode Island and that helped us determine who had the best Student Section and which ones wanted it more.

Just showing up in large crowds isn’t enough. It might fool other outlets that don’t cover Student Sections, but not us. We have to know how bad you want it and marketing is key. 

You will see top-notch Student Sections miss out at the top spot, but we kept saying it over and over and over again, in order to be considered number one, you have to win the Student Section of the Week title. Otherwise, what is the point of having that contest?!

I know Student Sections complain but remember it’s thousands of Student Sections and only me. Social media is your friend if used correctly.

A Student Section that doesn’t post videos or photos of there Student Section on a consistent basis is like a tree falling with no one around. It doesn’t make any noise.

This is our second year covering Football Student Sections in Rhode Island. We had Bishop Hendricken win it in 2023.

This is a state that we don’t know much about, but we hope to see more Student Sections in Rhode Island in 2025.

We will have 2 Student Sections in Rhode Island that will be voting in the Student Section playoffs that will begin soon.

So, let’s see who made the list and who is the best in the Smallest State.

2024 RHODE ISLAND FINAL TOP 20 FOOTBALL STUDENT SECTION RANKINGS

RED = PLAYOFF BOUND

  1. Cranston West Red Storm (2023 Rank: 3)

The Red Storm has one of the larger Student Sections in the state, but they also look like one of the rowdiest ones as well. They showed of their school spirit and I don’t blame them. We’ll see if the Red Storm can make some noise when they vote in the National Football Student Section playoffs, but for now, they’re the 2024 Rhode Island Football Student Section of the Year!

  1. Barrington Birdcage (2023 Rank: NR)

The Birdcage was very consistent in showing off their Student Section. They always had something on Instagram when it came to their Student Section. We’ll see if the Birdcage can make some noise when they vote in the National Football Student Section playoffs

  1. Bishop Hendricken (2023 Rank: 1)

Bishop Hendricken looks like a crazy group of kids that shake up the stands and rattle the opponent.

  1. North Kingstown (2023 Rank: 9)

North Kingstown filled up the stands and got rowdy in 2025! Definitely looks like a fun Student Section to be in.

  1. Cumberland Deck (2023 Rank: 14)

Last second edit, but we felt the Deck should be here in the Top 5 and they thought the same thing. We didn’t much of them on Instagram, but they showed us what kind of Student Section they were and we couldn’t ignore it. We feel they will be one of the favorite for our Winter Rankings later in the school year.
