The time has come to start ranking 50 states that we covered this football season. 

To say I’m overwhelmed with the work that comes along with this is a huge huge understatement.

We had 12 Student Section of the Week winners in Tennessee and that helped us determine who had the best Student Section and which ones wanted it more.

Just showing up in large crowds isn’t enough. It might fool other outlets that don’t cover Student Sections, but not us. We have to know how bad you want it and marketing is key. 

You will see top-notch Student Sections miss out at the top spot, but we kept saying it over and over and over again, in order to be considered number one, you have to win the Student Section of the Week title. Otherwise, what is the point of having that contest?!

I know Student Sections complain but remember it’s thousands of Student Sections and only me. Social media is your friend if used correctly.

A Student Section that doesn’t post videos or photos of there Student Section on a consistent basis is like a tree falling with no one around. It doesn’t make any noise.

This is our third year covering Football Student Sections in Tennessee. We had Beech Patrol winning it in 2022 and Houston Mustang Mob in 2023.

This is one of the deepest states when it comes to Student Sections. So many fantastic Student Sections. Top 5 strongest states for Student Sections.

We will have 5 Student Sections in Tennessee that will be voting in the Student Section playoffs that will begin soon.

So, let’s see who made the list and who is the best in the Volunteer State.

2024 TENNESSEE FINAL TOP 40 FOOTBALL STUDENT SECTION RANKINGS

RED = PLAYOFF BOUND

  1. Baylor (2023 Rank: 2)

Baylor has been near the top of the Student Sections the last two years, but this time, it’s their turn to be the top dawg! This has always been a crazy Student Section that loves to rock red and rock the stands, and sometimes the field! Considered one of the more respected Student Sections in the nation, Baylor will look to battle by voting in the Student Section playoffs, but they can finally say it, Baylor is the 2024 Tennessee Football Student Section of the Year!

  1. Nolansville (2023 Rank: 4)

Nolansville never took a day off this season. What an insane Student Section. It seemed like almost every week, this Student Section showed up ready to rock! They pack the stands and go nuts and they have a social media team that doesn’t take a day off. They love to show off their Student Section on Instagram! We’ll see if they can market and promote the voting in the National Football Student Section playoffs!

  1. Hillsboro Herd (2023 Rank: 9)

The Herd wanted to be considered one of the best in the state and they let us know about it. We saw the Herd showing off their Student Section on Instagram almost every week. Solid Student Section that can hang with the very best in the country. We’ll see if they can market and promote the voting in the National Football Student Section playoffs!

  1. Ravenwood Nest (2023 Rank: 11)

The Nest came in with a huge improvement. They’re always a solid Student Section, but they showed off their school spirit on Instagram way more than they did last season and it got them in the Top 5. We’ll see if they can market and promote the voting in the National Football Student Section playoffs!

  1. Houston Mustang Mob (2023 Rank: 1)

Last years Student Section state champions return in the Top 5. The Mustang Mob is always a solid Student Section. The Mustang Mob will now focus on voting as they get ready for the Student Section playoffs!
