2024 TEXAS FINAL TOP 40 FOOTBALL STUDENT SECTION RANKINGS

The time has come to start ranking 50 states that we covered this football season.

To say I’m overwhelmed with the work that comes along with this is a huge huge understatement.

We had 12 Student Section of the Week winners in Texas and that helped us determine who had the best Student Section and which ones wanted it more.

Just showing up in large crowds isn’t enough. It might fool other outlets that don’t cover Student Sections, but not us. We have to know how bad you want it and marketing is key.

You will see top-notch Student Sections miss out at the top spot, but we kept saying it over and over and over again, in order to be considered number one, you have to win the Student Section of the Week title. Otherwise, what is the point of having that contest?!

I know Student Sections complain but remember it’s thousands of Student Sections and only me. Social media is your friend if used correctly.

A Student Section that doesn’t post videos or photos of there Student Section on a consistent basis is like a tree falling with no one around. It doesn’t make any noise.

This is our third year covering Football Student Sections in Texas. We had the Allen Eagle Zone win it in 2022 and the George Ranch Rowdies in 2023.

We had a hard time with this state in the past, but we found many great Student Sections. We know there are a lot of schools and Student Sections in Texas that we may have to do West Texas and East Texas (kinda like we do with Northern and Southern California).

We will have 5 Student Sections in Texas that will be voting in the Student Section playoffs that will begin soon.

So, let’s see who made the list and who is the best in the Lone Star State.

RED = PLAYOFF BOUND

Guyer Blue Crew (2023 Rank: 25)

Our good friends at @elite_tx_sports on Instagram kept telling us that the Guyer Blue Crew is the best in the nation. We kept seeing the Blue Crew week after week on Instagram and we were sold. Constant social media promotion and marketing of their Student Section, with help from Elite TX Sports. That’s what the rankings are about, marketing. How bad do you want to be officially considered number versus just saying it just cause. The Blue Crew can really say it now! We’ll see how far they will go when they vote in the National Football Student Section playoffs, but for now they’re the 2024 Texas Football Student Section of the Year!

Atascocita (2023 Rank: NR)

This Student Section had plenty to cheer about this season thanks in part by having one of the best football programs in the state (and the nation). They definitely were a 12th Man in the stands! We’ll see if they can market and promote the voting in the National Football Student Section playoffs!

Allen Eagles Zone (2023 Rank: 2)

The Eagles Zone traditionally has one of the best Student Sections in the country and you would too if you had one of the best football programs in the nation and one of the nicest high school stadiums in the US! Plenty to cheer about here! We’ll see if they can market and promote the voting in the National Football Student Section playoffs!

Central Catholic (2023 Rank: NR)

Central Catholic caught our eye this season and they look like a wild Student Section! This is one of Texas best and we will see how they will fare when they vote in the Student Section playoffs this week!

Grand Oaks Grizzlyville (2023 Rank: NR)

Last second edit. We didn’t discover this Student Section until now, but you can expect Grand Oaks to be in the Top 5 of any Ranking at the very least. The Winter Rankings might be Grizzlyville for the taking. We’ll see if they can market and promote the voting in the National Football Student Section playoffs!
