2024 UTAH FINAL TOP 40 FOOTBALL STUDENT SECTION RANKINGS
The time has come to start ranking 50 states that we covered this football season.
To say I’m overwhelmed with the work that comes along with this is a huge huge understatement.
We had 11 Student Section of the Week winners in Utah and that helped us determine who had the best Student Section and which ones wanted it more.
Just showing up in large crowds isn’t enough. It might fool other outlets that don’t cover Student Sections, but not us. We have to know how bad you want it and marketing is key.
You will see top-notch Student Sections miss out at the top spot, but we kept saying it over and over and over again, in order to be considered number one, you have to win the Student Section of the Week title. Otherwise, what is the point of having that contest?!
I know Student Sections complain but remember it’s thousands of Student Sections and only me. Social media is your friend if used correctly.
A Student Section that doesn’t post videos or photos of there Student Section on a consistent basis is like a tree falling with no one around. It doesn’t make any noise.
This is our third year covering Football Student Sections in Utah. We had the Corner Canyon Stable win it in 2022 and Davis Mob in 2023.
This is a state that is loaded with insane and crazy Student Sections and we discovered several more this fall. This might be one of our best states when it comes to Student Sections.
We will have 5 Student Sections in Utah that will be voting in the Student Section playoffs that will begin soon. Normally we take 2-3 Student Sections, but this state deserves 5.
So, let’s see who made the list and who is the best in the Beehive State.
2024 UTAH FINAL TOP 40 FOOTBALL STUDENT SECTION RANKINGS
RED = PLAYOFF BOUND
- Syracuse Curse (2023 Rank: 6)
The Curse packed the stands and went above and beyond in said stands! They were on fire and close from it at one of their games! The marketing on Instagram was on point and they showed off their Student Section very well. We’ll see how far they will go when they vote in the National Football Student Section playoffs, but for now they’re the 2024 Utah Football Student Section of the Year!
- Orem Ambush (2023 Rank: 21)
The Ambush may not have the largest Student Section, but they’re always going nuts in the stands! What also definitely helped was their fantastic social media marketing. They showed off their Student Section and it got them a high seed as well as one of the National Student Section of the Week titles this fall. We’ll see if they can market and promote the voting in the National Football Student Section playoffs!
- Corner Canyon Sable (2023 Rank: 3)
The Stable packs the stands and goes wild, especially when they beat IMG Academy earlier this year! We’ll see if the Stable can upset some Student Section when they vote in the National Football Student Section playoffs!
- Pleasant Grove Hype (2023 Rank: 4)
The Hype not only brings the hype, but they can also pack the stands. I can appreciate the Hype for cheer despite being so cold in the stands! The Hype will now be ready to vote in the National Football Student Section playoffs!
- Olympus O-Zone (2023 Rank: 2)
The O-Zone is once again in the Top 5 in the Utah Student Section Rankings. The hype is definitely real and we’ll see if the hype matches when they vote in the National Football Student Section playoffs!
