2024 VERMONT FINAL TOP 15 FOOTBALL STUDENT SECTION RANKINGS

The time has come to start ranking 50 states that we covered this football season. 

To say I’m overwhelmed with the work that comes along with this is a huge huge understatement.

We had 10 Student Section of the Week winners in Vermont and that helped us determine who had the best Student Section and which ones wanted it more.

Just showing up in large crowds isn’t enough. It might fool other outlets that don’t cover Student Sections, but not us. We have to know how bad you want it and marketing is key. 

You will see top-notch Student Sections miss out at the top spot, but we kept saying it over and over and over again, in order to be considered number one, you have to win the Student Section of the Week title. Otherwise, what is the point of having that contest?!

I know Student Sections complain but remember it’s thousands of Student Sections and only me. Social media is your friend if used correctly.

A Student Section that doesn’t post videos or photos of there Student Section on a consistent basis is like a tree falling with no one around. It doesn’t make any noise.

This is our second year covering Football Student Sections in Vermont. We had Essex Hornet Hype win it in 2023.

This is a state that we don’t know much about, but we hope to see more Student Sections in Vermont in 2025.

We will have 1 Student Section in Vermont that will be voting in the Student Section playoffs that will begin soon.

So, let’s see who made the list and who is the best in the Green Mountain State.

2024 VERMONT FINAL TOP 15 FOOTBALL STUDENT SECTION RANKINGS

RED = PLAYOFF BOUND

  1. Colchester Laker Nation (2023 Rank: 4)

Laker Nation loved showing off their Student Section this season as they posted on Instagram on a consistent basis. They packed the stands and showed off all their themes to a T. We’ll see how they’ll fare in the National Student Section playoffs, but for now, they are the 2024 Vermont Football Student Section Champions!

  1. Rutland (2023 Rank: NR)

Rutland can rock it with the Red, White and Blue and they can pack the stands. Their school spirit went unnoticed as the local news showed off the Student Section.

  1. Burlington (2023 Rank: 5)

Burlington was consistent this season in showing off their Student Section on social media. They deserved another Top 5 finish.

  1. Brattleboro Union (2023 Rank: 2)

Brattleboro Union was one of the first Student Sections we discovered and have been on our radar ever since and for good reason.

  1. South Burlington Hype Squad (2023 Rank: NR)

South Burlington showed off their Student Section several times this season. The Pink Out Theme this season was on point.
