STUDENT SECTIONS OF THE WEEK (AUG. 28-30, 2025)
The Football Student Section season is well underway! 42 states played some football with their Student Sections cheering them on.
Some states were had winners that showed off their Student Section, others didn’t, so we went with a different route, whoever promoted the game with a theme for the Student Section. Hopefully, we can avoid that route!
Once you win Student Section of the Week for your home state, you can’t win it again, but you still qualify to win the National Student Section of the Week at some other point. Once you win that, you can’t qualify to win another one.
However, for this week’s National Student Section of the Week Winner, they’ll get a chance to win their home state!
Now once you win, it doesn’t mean tagging us of sending videos and photos of your Student Sections comes to an end because we still have the end of the season rankings and you have to make a very strong case for the top spot in your state!
We will go with who I felt was the best Student Section in the state by what I saw on Instagram!
We had some fantastic Student Sections this past week, but we had to go with one Student Section for the National Football Student Section of the Week.
As mentioned, we had some solid Student Sections. Four of them came to mind for the National Student Section of the Week, but one of them wasn’t even on our radar.
The Liberty Birdcage Crazies of Missouri wasn’t even ranked in our 2024 Missouri Top 40 Rankings, but we have been discovering some solid Student Sections one by one it seems in this state that is has become one of our power states when it comes to school spirit and it looks like the Birdcage Crazies could lead the way!
The Blue Jays hosted Lee’s Summit last Friday and the Birdcage Crazies came in shaking to start the 2025-2026 Student Section season!
The Birdcage Crazies was pretty colorful in the stands which leveled up with the noise they brought. The Crazies prepared for this game with some color before the game! They brought that energy into the stands!
Last year, we had a Missouri Student Section go from 21st to 1st and it looks like we could see unranked to number one in 2025! This Student Section has the potential to battle for a National Fall Student Section Title!
It was a colorful Friday Night as Liberty defeated the Tigers 21-13!
While the Allen Eagle Zone of Texas, Deland Dawg Party of Florida and Brownsburg Bone Zone of Indiana had amazing showings in the stands, Liberty just had that little extra on Friday as the Liberty Birdcage Crazies are your National Student Section of the Week!
