STUDENT SECTIONS OF THE WEEK (SEPT. 2-6, 2025)

The Football Student Section season is well underway! 42 states played some football with their Student Sections cheering them on.

Some states were had winners that showed off their Student Section, others didn’t, so we went with a different route, whoever promoted the game with a theme for the Student Section. Hopefully, we can avoid that route!

Once you win Student Section of the Week for your home state, you can’t win it again, but you still qualify to win the National Student Section of the Week at some other point. Once you win that, you can’t qualify to win another one.

However, for this week’s National Student Section of the Week Winner, they’ll get a chance to win their home state!

Now once you win, it doesn’t mean tagging us of sending videos and photos of your Student Sections comes to an end because we still have the end of the season rankings and you have to make a very strong case for the top spot in your state!

We will go with who I felt was the best Student Section in the state by what I saw on Instagram!

We had some fantastic Student Sections this past week, but we had to go with one Student Section for the National Football Student Section of the Week.

As mentioned, we had some solid Student Sections. Three of them came to mind for the National Student Section of the Week, but one of them wasn’t even on our radar as far as the National circuit goes.

Seriously, who had Delaware on their bingo card? We don’t usually see small states being a top dawg and in this case Delaware is still a state we’re trying to figure, but I feel like we found the states powerhouse when it comes to Student Sections in Salesianum.

An all-boys Catholic Student Section is always one to fear. An endless amount of energy, intensity and insanity and Salesianum has had that for awhile now!

The Sallies hosted La Salle College last Friday and Salesianum was ready for more after last week home opener!

Salesianum leaders came in with the usual white paint on their chest with the crowd behind them in what I believe is a White Out theme! They definitely rocked it!

Salesianum was already the favorite for the top ranking in the Delaware Fall Student Section, but they will look to aim higher. They have potential to be National Champs!

Despite the 28-17 loss to the Explorers, Salesianum is ride or die for their football team no matter the outcome!

While the Servite Asylum of Southern California and Ravenwood Nest of Tennessee had amazing showings in the stands, Salesianum was too good to ignore as Salesianum is your National Student Section of the Week!

“At the end of the day, it’s a brotherhood—and that’s why we win. Roll Sals.” -Spirit Leader Abraham Castellano
