STUDENT SECTIONS OF THE WEEK (SEPT. 22-27, 2025)

The Football Student Section season is well underway! All 50 states played some football with their Student Sections cheering them on.

Some states were had winners that showed off their Student Section, others didn’t, so we went with a different route, whoever promoted the game with a theme for the Student Section. Hopefully, we can avoid that route!

Once you win Student Section of the Week for your home state, you can’t win it again, but you still qualify to win the National Student Section of the Week at some other point. Once you win that, you can’t qualify to win another one.

However, for this week’s National Student Section of the Week Winner, they’ll get a chance to win their home state!

Now once you win, it doesn’t mean tagging us of sending videos and photos of your Student Sections comes to an end because we still have the end of the season rankings and you have to make a very strong case for the top spot in your state!

We will go with who I felt was the best Student Section in the state by what I saw on Instagram!

We had some fantastic Student Sections this past week, but we had to go with one Student Section for the National Football Student Section of the Week.

This week was a tough one as life got in the way for me. Funeral in another country, had to rush our pet to the ER overnight, work having me step up, it was a tough one, but we got this one done at the final hour.

Last week, we went with a Student Section from Southern California. We might as well stay in that region!

California is the original powerhouse Student Section dawgs, but several states have taken notice and shown that they have better school spirit. One of the very first Student Sections we ever acknowledged was the Servite Asylum when I covered Student Sections for the now defuncted OC Sidelines in 2015.

I remember when they were the Servite Pit when I had friends that went nuts in the stands and would take that insane and wacky energy to church leadership events. The Asylum always steps it up a notch!

This past week, they went on the road as the Friars took on St. Paul in an old rivalry. I assumed it was a home game because the Asylum brought a full squad and took over.

The Asylum was getting prepared for the college life as it was Frat Night. The Asylum would not leave the Swordsman plays alone as they kept rattling the opponent all night as they went nuts from start to finish.

The Asylum wanted this and they not only want to be the best in Orange County or the best in Southern California, but they want to be the best in the Nation. A tough task, but they’re up for the challenge.

Servite took over as they took the 49-8 victory over St. Paul.

While the Highland Hawks Nest of Arizona and Henry County of Tennessee had amazing showings in the stands, we can’t ignore ROAD WARRIORS! The Servite Asylum is you’re National Fall Student Section of the Week!

“They wrote us off, but we didn’t write back”
