In 2015, yours truly began covering Student Sections in Orange County, California. We expanded to Southern California in 2017 and in 2021, we added four more states and added 15 more states. We went to 40 states two years ago. We went to all 50 states in winter of 2023 and now we add our friends from the North in Canada on top of dividing Texas into two regions, similar to what we did with California. No one has ever done that before…until now! Tappan Zee Red Sea (2024 Rank: 4) The Red Sea looked like one of the larger Student Sections in New York this Winter, which explains why they got the most votes to get the top spot in the state. Loud and proud, the Red Sea packed the stands and looked like a distraction for opposing teams. Exeter Hawks Nest (2024 Rank: 5) One of the bigger Student Sections in New Hampshire was the Hawks Nest! Every photo we saw this winter portrayed that this is one of the biggest Student Sections out there and they looked hyped and rowdy! It's not like this was a one man show, this state has some very solid Student Sections.
