Every week, we do the SoCal Student Section of the Week, but it got us thinking, with over 2000 schools in Southern California, why just name one winner?
That’s why we will acknowledge four regional winners and any nominees in those regions.
We bring you, the SoCal Student Section Regional Student Section of the Week…try saying that five times fast.
INLAND EMPIRE STUDENT SECTION OF THE WEEK
DAMIEN PIT: The Pit, which won the 2019 SoCal Basketball Student Section of the Year title, picked up where they left off. The Pit came ready for Chino Hills and who knows, the Chino Hills Dawgpound.

No Dawgpound in this one as Damien of La Verne took control back from Chino Hills after the Okongwu/Ball Era in the Spartans 77-62 victory.
The Pit was loud and rowdy as always and stood alone in the IE.

SAGE CREEK BOB SQUAD: What impresses me about the Bob Squad is despite the tough season for the Bobcats, the Bob Squad still shows up and shows their love for their basketball team. Sage Creek of Carlsbad took on a solid Carlsbad team and the Bob Squad was ready to battle with the Loud Crowd.
The Bob Squad kept cheering despite the 79-44 loss to the Lancers. Kudos for being their for your classmates.
