STUDENT SECTIONS OF THE WEEK (AUG. 15-17, 2024)

The Football Student Section season is underway! 7 states kicked off the football season with 15 more states joining us next week.

Some states were had winners that showed off their Student Section, others didn’t, so we went with a different route, whoever promoted the game with a theme for the Student Section. Hopefully, we can avoid that route!

Once you win Student Section of the Week for your home state, you can’t win it again, but you still qualify to win the National Student Section of the Week at some other point. Once you win that, you can’t qualify to win another one.

Now once you win, it doesn’t mean tagging us of sending videos and photos of your Student Sections comes to an end because we still have the end of the season rankings and you have to make a very strong case for the top spot in your state!

We will go with who I felt was the best Student Section in the state by what I saw on Instagram!

We had some fantastic Student Sections this past week, but we had to go with one Student Section for the National Football Student Section of the Week.

While finishing in the Top 10 of the Utah Basketball Student Section Rankings last spring is a huge accomplishment, the Orem Ambush didn’t think so, but instead of throwing a hissy fit, the Ambush took responsibility for it the ranking and said they will have to show up be better for it and this past weekend was a good start.

The Tigers hosted Pleasant Grove last Friday and while Pleasant Grove has a remarkable Student Section themselves in the Hype, it was no match for what the Ambush had in store for them to kickoff the football season.

The Ambush not only showed up and watched their Tigers take a lopsided 35-13 victory, but they show it off on social media, letting everyone know just how strong of a Student Section they are.

While the Deland Dawg Party of Florida rocked the stands last week, it was no match for the men and women in Utah as the Orem Ambush of Utah is your National Football Student Section of the Week!
