STUDENT SECTIONS OF THE WEEK (AUG. 22-24, 2024)

The Football Student Section season is underway! 18 more states kicked off the football season with 7 more states joining us next week.

Some states were had winners that showed off their Student Section, others didn’t, so we went with a different route, whoever promoted the game with a theme for the Student Section. Hopefully, we can avoid that route!

Once you win Student Section of the Week for your home state, you can’t win it again, but you still qualify to win the National Student Section of the Week at some other point. Once you win that, you can’t qualify to win another one.

Now once you win, it doesn’t mean tagging us of sending videos and photos of your Student Sections comes to an end because we still have the end of the season rankings and you have to make a very strong case for the top spot in your state!

We will go with who I felt was the best Student Section in the state by what I saw on Instagram!

We had some fantastic Student Sections this past week, but we had to go with one Student Section for the National Football Student Section of the Week.

It seems every year a Student Section in Tennessee makes a big splash and pushes Baylor out of the spotlight, but Baylor of Tennessee is looking to keep everyone out this season. Plus, they want more than the top spot in Tennessee, they want to be National Student Section Champions and they proved that they will battle for it this past weekend.

The Red Raiders hosted Rabun Gap-Nacoochee last Friday and their Student Section went wild to kickoff the 2024 season. The stands were rocking and the Student Section leaders had themselves 3-5 energy drinks.

Baylor got the push they needed as they took the 21-14 victory over the Eagles.

While the Cathedral Irish Nightmare of Indiana rocked the stands last week, it was no match for the men and women in Tennessee as Baylor is your National Football Student Section of the Week!
