STUDENT SECTIONS OF THE WEEK (NOV. 7-9, 2024)
The Football Student Section season is coming to a close as we are in the playoffs! This also means the Football Student Section of the Week will be coming to an end for 2024 as we begin the 2024 Football Student Section playoffs!
We had 30 of the 51 regions battling for the Student Section of the Week last week as we get closer to the National Football Student Section playoffs. We are all officially in for the fall!
Alaska and Hawaii Football Student Section season has come to a close as congratulations Service High School for being named the 2024 Alaska Football Student Section of the Year and will head to the 2024 Football Student Section Playoffs next month. We also want to thank the Kahuku Code Red of Hawaii as they’re the back-to-back Hawaii Football Student Section of the Week as they will also be in the Student Section Playoffs! Two spots has been locked with less than 150 more spots to go as we announce more Student Sections that punched their ticket to the postseason at the end of the week!
Several more states will conclude their regular Student Section season and we’ll find out who advances to the 2024 Football Student Section playoffs.
Some states were had winners that showed off their Student Section, others didn’t, so we went with a different route, whoever promoted the game with a theme for the Student Section. Hopefully, we can avoid that route!
Once you win Student Section of the Week for your home state, you can’t win it again, but you still qualify to win the National Student Section of the Week at some other point. Once you win that, you can’t qualify to win another one.
Now once you win, it doesn’t mean tagging us of sending videos and photos of your Student Sections comes to an end because we still have the end of the season rankings and you have to make a very strong case for the top spot in your state!
We will go with who I felt was the best Student Section in the state by what I saw on Instagram!
We had some fantastic Student Sections this past week, but we had to go with one Student Section for the National Football Student Section of the Week.
Centerville Herd of Ohio has been a tiny bit quiet compared to last season, but they’re still a crazy group of kids this fall and look like a solid pick to go back-to-back for the Ohio Football Student Section of the Year!
The Herd dressed to go to war on Friday as they hosted Springboro for their Camo Theme and they were ready to battle!
The Herd took control in the stands and on the field as they made a strong case to get in the Football Student Section Playoffs in the Midwest Region as they hope to get in the National Football Student Section Playoffs afterwards. I’m sure the Herd wants to go deeper in the Student Section playoffs than last year and possibly take the Football Student Section National Title!
It was a fantastic evening for Centerville as they defeated the Panthers 14-7.
While the Captain Shreve Swamp of Louisiana rocked the stands last week, it was no match for the crazy kids in Ohio as the Centerville Herd is your National Football Student Section of the Week!
