STUDENT SECTIONS OF THE WEEK (OCT 20-OCT 25, 2025)
The Football Student Section season is well underway! 43 states played some football with their Student Sections cheering them on.
Some states were had winners that showed off their Student Section, others didn’t, so we went with a different route, whoever promoted the game with a theme for the Student Section. Hopefully, we can avoid that route!
Once you win Student Section of the Week for your home state, you can’t win it again, but you still qualify to win the National Student Section of the Week at some other point. Once you win that, you can’t qualify to win another one.
However, for this week’s National Student Section of the Week Winner, they’ll get a chance to win their home state!
Now once you win, it doesn’t mean tagging us of sending videos and photos of your Student Sections comes to an end because we still have the end of the season rankings and you have to make a very strong case for the top spot in your state!
Alaska, Hawaii, Vermont and Washington DC have concluded their Student Section Fall season, but three Student Sections have punched their ticket to a playoff spot in the National Fall Student Section voting playoff bracket. I know that sounds confusing, but you pick it up very quickly when the bracket is displayed!
Only three more weeks of Student Section of the Week as we will be getting into more voting for Student Section of the Year in several states!
Congratulations to Barrow of Alaska, Kaiser Cougar Cage of Hawaii, Gonzaga Prep of Washington D.C. and Essex Hornet Hype of Vermont on clinching a spot in the Student Section National Playoffs!
We will go with who I felt was the best Student Section in the state by what I saw on Instagram!
We had some fantastic Student Sections this past week, but we had to go with one Student Section for the National Football Student Section of the Week.
One of the Student Sections that has been consistency in the Top 10 in the Nation every year! This is a Student Section many schools in the country talk about. This is a well-respected Student Section in the country.
This season was a challenge for the Great Oak Red Wave as they didn’t have many home games, so it didn’t give them a chance to be the Nation’s best for the week, but they got it before the season ran out.
The Wolfpack hosted Temecula Valley on Thursday in a White Out Theme. It was also Senior Night and the Red Wave came ready to roll and cheer on their seniors!
With the Red Wave going crazy, it gave the Wolfpack a boost as Great Oak was in total control all night.
Great Oak sealed their playoff berth as they defeated the Golden Bears 36-13!
While the Independence Indy Nation of Tennessee had an amazing showing in the stands, it wasn’t enough as the Great Oak Red Wave is you’re National Fall Student Section of the Week!
