STUDENT SECTIONS OF THE WEEK (OCT. 3-5, 2024)
The Football Student Section season is underway! We had all 51 regions battling for the Student Section of the Week last week as we get closer to the National Football Student Section playoffs. We are all officially in for the fall!
Some states were had winners that showed off their Student Section, others didn’t, so we went with a different route, whoever promoted the game with a theme for the Student Section. Hopefully, we can avoid that route!
Once you win Student Section of the Week for your home state, you can’t win it again, but you still qualify to win the National Student Section of the Week at some other point. Once you win that, you can’t qualify to win another one.
Now once you win, it doesn’t mean tagging us of sending videos and photos of your Student Sections comes to an end because we still have the end of the season rankings and you have to make a very strong case for the top spot in your state!
We will go with who I felt was the best Student Section in the state by what I saw on Instagram!
We had some fantastic Student Sections this past week, but we had to go with one Student Section for the National Football Student Section of the Week.
We were wondering when Edmond Memorial Dogpound of Oklahoma was going to show up, but they showed up in big ways last Friday in the city championship game against rival Edmond Santa Fe and their Student Section, the Wolfpack.
The Dogpound came ready to take over the town on Homecoming Night in a black out theme.
Edmond Memorial took control in the stands and on the field as it looks like the Dogpound made a strong case to repeat as Oklahoma Football Student Section Champions.
It was a picture perfect evening for Edmond Memorial as they defeated the Wolves 35-7.
While the Chino Hills Dawgpound rocked the stands last week, it was no match for the crazy kids in Oklahoma as the Edmond Memorial Dogpound is your National Football Student Section of the Week!
Let’s take a look at the other Student Section of the Week winners in all of the 50 states that played football.
