STUDENT SECTIONS OF THE WEEK (SEPT. 19-21, 2024)
The Football Student Section season is underway! We had all 51 regions battling for the Student Section of the Week last week for the first time this season! We are all officially in for the fall!
Some states were had winners that showed off their Student Section, others didn’t, so we went with a different route, whoever promoted the game with a theme for the Student Section. Hopefully, we can avoid that route!
Once you win Student Section of the Week for your home state, you can’t win it again, but you still qualify to win the National Student Section of the Week at some other point. Once you win that, you can’t qualify to win another one.
Now once you win, it doesn’t mean tagging us of sending videos and photos of your Student Sections comes to an end because we still have the end of the season rankings and you have to make a very strong case for the top spot in your state!
We will go with who I felt was the best Student Section in the state by what I saw on Instagram!
We had some fantastic Student Sections this past week, but we had to go with one Student Section for the National Football Student Section of the Week.
The Aliso Niguel Den of Southern California has been one of the better Student Sections in South Orange County, but the Den is thinking bigger this fall as they want the entire county.
The Wolverines hosted Compton Dominguez on Friday and it would be fitting that they went with a Hawaiian theme since Aliso Viejo is near the beach.
The Den packed the stands (and that’s putting it lightly) and had plenty to cheer and more. This Student Section is not only looking to take the Orange County Football Student Section title by OC Student Sections (@OCStudentSections on Instagram) and local newspaper, the Orange County Register, but the Den wants to take the SoCal Football Student Section title and battle for the National Football Student Section title.
When it comes to Orange County, the Den is one of the strongest Student Sections at home, they go all out!
The Wolverines of Aliso Niguel got the extra boost from the Den as they defeated the Dons 35-15.
While the Centerville Herd of Ohio rocked the stands last week, it was no match for the kids in SoCal as the Aliso Niguel Den is your National Football Student Section of the Week!
Let’s take a look at the other Student Section of the Week winners in all of the 50 states that played football.
