STUDENT SECTIONS OF THE WEEK (SEPT. 25-27, 2022)

42 Winners in 41 states this past week. The voting was not as insane as last week, but it was awesome to see 8,850 votes. We thank you for that!

While we had 42 winners across the country, one Student Section came away with 766 votes in the Southern California region, the Murrieta Valley Red Zone.

The defending Regional Football Student Section Champs aka Best of the West, hasn’t skipped a beat as they look to go back-to-back as the best Student Section, but this time they need to make an impression as the National Football Student Section Champions!

The Nighthawks took on OC powerhouse San Clemente last Friday and they needed a boost from the Red Zone. They got the boost plenty more in their 48-31 victory. That deserve a powder toss in the stands.

The Red Zone went to the voting polls and narrowly beat out the Mount Si of Washington (529 votes), Spanish Fort of Alabama (520 votes), Pinecrest Superfans of North Carolina (480 votes), Casteel Stampede of Arizona (417 votes), and Bothell Blue Train of Washington (388 votes). The Murrieta Valley Red Zone is the National Student Section of the Week!

“Last weekend was a big game for MV, our hoco game,” the Red Zone said in a statement. “We incorporated a solid theme that we knew would get students involved as well as unique cheers that would build excitement in the crowd.”
