2022 ALABAMA FOOTBALL STUDENT SECTION TOP 40 FINAL RANKINGS

We continue our Final Rankings in the 41 states we covered this football season.

To say I’m overwhelmed with the work that comes along with this is an understatement.

We had Student Section of the Week for over 10 weeks and that helped us determine who had the best Student Section and which one wanted it more.

Just showing up in large crowds isn’t enough. It might fool other outlets that don’t cover Student Sections, but not us. We have to know how bad you want and marketing is key. 

You will see top-notch Student Sections miss out at the top spot, but we kept saying it over and over and over again, in order to be considered number one, you have to win the Student Section of the Week title. Otherwise, what is the point of having that contest?!

I know Student Sections complain, but remember it’s thousands of Student Sections and only me. Social media is your friend if used correctly.

Alabama takes its football seriously and I’m starting to think they do the same for Student Sections.

This state has about 8 Student Sections that can compete for a State title in another state.

We do already know that Pizitz Middle School of Vestavia is the top Middle School Student Section. Man, if I had time, I’d add Middle School coverage to the website. I’m already trying to add the Parental Section, but let’s focus on the high school kids first.

Anyway, let’s checkout the Top 40 and name the Alabama Student Section Champion.

  1. Auburn Unit

The Unit was not happy with their preseason ranking and they went on a run to start the season to prove us that they’re the best.

It wasn’t easy as the Top 5 in the state battled for the Student Section state title, but the Unit showed up for the big games.

It was close, but the Auburn Unit is the 2022 Alabama Football Student Section Champions.

  1. Hoover Boneyard

Man, it hurts to not have the Boneyard at the top spot, but they’ll be back for a National Ranking. This is such a fun Student Section to watch.

  1. Vestavia Hills Jungle

The Jungle is a fantastic Student Section to watch and were very consistent this season in showing off their school spirit on Instagram. What I like about this Student Section is that they have a solid future with the Pizitz Middle School Student Section doing its thing nearby. The Jungle will remain in the Top 5

  1. Thompson War Zone of Alabaster

One of the few Student Sectiona I got to watch from my television back here in California. It’s a party when you’re in The War Zone.

  1. Gardendale Launch Pad

The Launch Pad took off with fantastic showings this season. The Preppy Theme was a favorite of mine. Amazing season for both the football team and the Launch Pad.
