2024 MICHIGAN FINAL TOP 40 FOOTBALL STUDENT SECTION RANKINGS

The time has come to start ranking 50 states that we covered this football season.

To say I’m overwhelmed with the work that comes along with this is a huge huge understatement.

We had 11 Student Section of the Week winners in Michigan and that helped us determine who had the best Student Section and which ones wanted it more.

Just showing up in large crowds isn’t enough. It might fool other outlets that don’t cover Student Sections, but not us. We have to know how bad you want it and marketing is key.

You will see top-notch Student Sections miss out at the top spot, but we kept saying it over and over and over again, in order to be considered number one, you have to win the Student Section of the Week title. Otherwise, what is the point of having that contest?!

I know Student Sections complain but remember it’s thousands of Student Sections and only me. Social media is your friend if used correctly.

A Student Section that doesn’t post videos or photos of there Student Section on a consistent basis is like a tree falling with no one around. It doesn’t make any noise.

This is our third year covering Football Student Sections in Michigan. We had Chippewa Valley Rowdy Red Zone winning it in 2022 and Utica Tribe in 2023.

We have seen some great Student Section, but we haven’t seen the super power Student Section yet in Michigan. It’s fair game for all the Student Sections here!

We will have 3 Student Sections in Michigan that will be voting in the Student Section playoffs that will begin soon.

So, let’s see who made the list and who is the best in the Great Lake State.

Eisenhower Zoo (2023 Rank: 30)

The Zoo might have the most creative Instagram. They make sure everyone in the Student Section is involved and gets credit for cheering on their football team. They improved their social media game by a lot and that is why they’re getting the top spot this season! Well done to the social media team! We’ll see how they’ll fare in the National Student Section playoffs that start pretty soon, but for now, they’re the Michigan Football Student Section of the Year!

Central Catholic Shamrock Nation (2023 Rank: 11)

Shamrock Nation can rock the stands while also filling it to the brim! They also love to show off their Student Section on Instagram, which caught my eye and left a good impression. This looks like a fun Student Section to watch! We’ll see how they’ll fare in the National Student Section playoffs that start pretty soon.

Chippewa Valley Red Zone (2023 Rank: 6)

As always, the Rowdy Red Zone can pack the stands on top of getting rowdy, pun intended! We’ll see how they’ll fare in the National Student Section playoffs that start pretty soon.

Zeeland East Coop Crazies (2023 Rank: NR)

Not only is Zeeland East Crazy, but you can tell how much fun they’re having in the stands! Coop Crazies make the big jump to the Top 5! We’ll see how they’ll fare in the National Student Section playoffs that start pretty soon.
