The time has come to start ranking 50 states that we covered this football season. 

To say I’m overwhelmed with the work that comes along with this is a huge huge understatement.

We had 11 Student Section of the Week winners in Minnesota and that helped us determine who had the best Student Section and which ones wanted it more.

Just showing up in large crowds isn’t enough. It might fool other outlets that don’t cover Student Sections, but not us. We have to know how bad you want it and marketing is key. 

You will see top-notch Student Sections miss out at the top spot, but we kept saying it over and over and over again, in order to be considered number one, you have to win the Student Section of the Week title. Otherwise, what is the point of having that contest?!

I know Student Sections complain but remember it’s thousands of Student Sections and only me. Social media is your friend if used correctly.

A Student Section that doesn’t post videos or photos of there Student Section on a consistent basis is like a tree falling with no one around. It doesn’t make any noise.

This is our third year covering Football Student Sections in Minnesota. We had Minnetonka Blue Crew winning it in 2022 and St. Michael-Albertville in 2023.

This state has four super solid Student Sections, but we noticed some other fantastic Student Sections that can possibly take down the Mount Rushmore of Minnesota Student Sections.

We will have 4 Student Sections in Minnesota that will be voting in the Student Section playoffs that will begin soon.

So, let’s see who made the list and who is the best in the North Star State.

RED = PLAYOFF BOUND

  1. Edina (2023 Rank: 3)

This was a no brainer! Edina has the biggest Student Section in the state and they are a problem for any opponent, especially if they’re going to try and rattle you! This looks like a loud group of kids that love wearing green! We’ll see how they’ll fare in the National Student Section playoffs that start pretty soon, but for now, they’re the Minnesota Football Student Section of the Year!

  1. Maple Grove Party Zone (2023 Rank: 14)

The Party Zone rocked social media and showed off a fantastic Student Section that packed the stands. The promotion on Instagram helped them move up big this fall. We’ll see how they’ll fare in the National Student Section playoffs that start pretty soon.

  1. Wayzata Trojan Nation (2023 Rank: 2)

We didn’t much of Wayzata compared to last season, but from the few times we saw them, it seemed like it was business as usual for Trojan Nation! We’ll see how they’ll fare in the National Student Section playoffs that start pretty soon.

  1. Minnetonka Blue Crew (2023 Rank: 4)

The Blue Crew packed the stands as always. This is one of the bigger Student Sections and one of the more consistent ones that post on Instagram. We’ll see how they’ll fare in the National Student Section playoffs that start pretty soon.

  1. Forest Lake Bleacher Creatures (2023 Rank: NR)

After not being ranked last year, the Bleacher Creatures showed up big and they packed the house while making a mess as they get in the Top 5 this fall.
