Gonzaga This was the first Student Section we discovered in Washington DC, so it wasn't a surprise, but we do know that this region has some great Student Sections. Gonzaga can pack the stands, and they look like a crazy and wild bunch! 2024-25 DELAWARE BASKETBALL STUDENT SECTION TOP 25 RANKINGS Salesianum (2024 Rank: 1) It seems like Salesianum Student Section is in a league of it's own as they're on top once again, but I can sense they have company moving forward. Nevertheless, this has been and is still a very impressive Student Section and they took care of the voting. Based on the photos, this is a crazy Student Section and has a rich history in the stands. The time has come to start ranking 50 states that we covered this football season.  To say I’m overwhelmed with the work that comes along with this is a huge huge understatement. We had 11 Student Section of the Week winners in New Jersey and that helped us determine who had the best Student Section and which ones wanted it more. Just showing up in large crowds isn’t enough. It might fool other outlets that don’t cover Student Sections, but not us. We have to know how bad you want it and marketing is key.  You will see top-notch Student Sections miss out at the top spot, but we kept saying it over and over and over again, in order to be considered number one, you have to win the Student Section of the Week...

In 2015, yours truly began covering Student Sections in Orange County, California. We expanded to Southern California in 2017 and in 2021, we added four more states and added 15 more states. We went to 40 states two years ago. We went to all 50 states in winter of 2023. No one has ever done that before…until now! I know that Student Sections have a lot of work to do to get the students to the games to cheer on their classmates and go along with the theme and make sure they don’t cause trouble.
