2024-25 ALASKA BASKETBALL STUDENT SECTION TOP 20 RANKINGS Nome-Beltz (Last Year Rank: 7) One of the very few Student Sections we discovered more than once. Nome-Beitz had plenty to cheer about and now they'll have to prepare to vote in the National Winter Student Section playoffs as they'll represent Alaska...because they're the 2024-25 Alaska Winter Student Section Champions! Wasilla (Last Year: NR) This Student Section is as rowdy as the parents. Probably not dressed as crazy as the parents, but still rowdy nevertheless. Service (Last Year: 4) If they can rock it during football season outside the Alaska weather, then you can bet the Service Student Section is nut indoors for basketball. Bettye Davis East Anchorage (Last Year: 2) Dimond (Last Year: 3) West Anchorage Nest (Last Year: 1) Grace Christian (Last Year: 6) Soldotna (Last Year: 8)...

The time has come to start ranking 50 states that we covered this football season.  To say I’m overwhelmed with the work that comes along with this is a huge huge understatement. We had 11 Student Section of the Week winners in Iowa and that helped us determine who had the best Student Section and which ones wanted it more. Just showing up in large crowds isn’t enough. It might fool other outlets that don’t cover Student Sections, but not us. We have to know how bad you want it and marketing is key.  You will see top-notch Student Sections miss out at the top spot, but we kept saying it over and over and over again, in order to be considered number one, you have to win the Student Section of the Week title....
