SoCal Regional Student Section of the Week: (02/13/2020)
Every week, we do the SoCal Student Section of the Week, but it got us thinking, with over 2000 schools in Southern California, why just name one winner?
That’s why we will acknowledge four regional winners and any nominees in those regions.
We bring you, the SoCal Student Section Regional Student Section of the Week…try saying that five times fast.
INLAND EMPIRE STUDENT SECTION OF THE WEEK
UPLAND DOGPOUND: The Dogpound showed up and packed the gym in a regular season finale against Rancho Cucamonga. Both school have had a heated rivalry for awhile, mainly in football, but this matchup was one sided when it came to student sections.
While I have to give credit to the Rancho Cucamonga Cheerleaders for stepping up, the Dogpound, otherwise known as the Unit or the U, got very rowdy and loud with their savage chants and rattling of the opponent.
The Dogpound got free basketball and the Highlanders victory over Rancho Cucamonga, which led to charging the court. The Dogpound made a strong impression for the Inland Empire Top 25 in a few weeks.

LOS ANGELES STUDENT SECTION OF THE WEEK
The atmosphere in the gym tonight was amazing!

➡️ Both Boys & Girls BBall closed out the Hacienda League with a win
➡️ The Blue Thunder was rockin!

WALNUT STABLE: Walnut student section may have one of the strongest social media games in the LA area. They keep showing off their school spirit and they finally got the chance to get the credit they deserved.
The Walnut student section showed up and got loud when the Mustangs hosted Charter Oak of Covina in the regular season finale.
Very impressive in a league that is filled with great student sections.

SAN DIEGO STUDENT SECTION OF THE WEEK
SAGE CREEK BOB SQUAD: The Bob Squad of Carlsbad showed up big for two home games against Vista and Oceanside.
The Bob Squad is a very unique student section and unique is what gets you noticed. One of the better student sections when it comes to marketing themselves on social media. The Bob Squad can battle with the best in San Diego during basketball season.
