Manny and Bannon talk to Zack Wasson and Edison Shipley of the Barren County Student Section in Kentucky. We talk about the Student Section returning to the stands in very limited numbers while also talking about their love for Kentucky Wildcats basketball!
We also talk to Josh Backus and Ava Chiesa of the Turlock Dogpound of Northern California. We talk about how they’ve kept school sprit alive despite no sports in California, although they do plan to have a Cross Country Student Section if the sport gets the ok to run!
We also talk to Arizona prep writer Gabe Alvarez (Manny’s older brother). We talk about the football and student section scene in Arizona while also discussing how Student Sections evolved since his days in high school as well as a horrific prank on a rival school when he was a student. It’s savage stuff!
Manny also shows Bannon a sign that the Chiefs are going to repeat as Super Bowl Champs with a rookie baseball card from the early 90s while also eating 30 year old baseball bubble gum. Spoiler alert, it’s gross!
