The time has come to start ranking 50 states that we covered this football season.  To say I’m overwhelmed with the work that comes along with this is a huge huge understatement. We had 11 Student Section of the Week winners in Washington and that helped us determine who had the best Student Section and which ones wanted it more. Just showing up in large crowds isn’t enough. It might fool other outlets that don’t cover Student Sections, but not us. We have to know how bad you want it and marketing is key.  You will see top-notch Student Sections miss out at the top spot, but we kept saying it over and over and over again, in order to be considered number one, you have to win the Student Section of the Week title....

In 2015, yours truly began covering Student Sections in Orange County, California. We expanded to Southern California in 2017 and in 2021, we added four more states and added 15 more states. We went to 40 states two years ago. We went to all 50 states in winter of 2023 and now we add our friends from the North in Canada on top of dividing Texas into two regions, similar to what we did with California. No one has ever done that before…until now! This is still a one-man operation for the most part, but we have some help with some partners on Instagram like good friends at OC Student Sections and Stadium Geeks with help from Maryland Student Section Rater, NorCal Student Sections and many more. This year we plan to get several “barstool”...

Glacier Peak (2024 Rank: 5) What a year for the Glacier Peak Student Section, but this is a Student Section that has been very consistent at near the top every year! Well respected and they can pack the stands! One of the better Student Sections that post on social media! Canby (2024 Rank: NR) Canby is one of those Student Sections we just recently discovered and they have proved us pretty quickly that they're a power not to be messed with in Oregon! Stacked in the stands, Canby is a strong 6th Man for their basketball team and is ready to rattle!
