What a season! Football and Student Section season! I knew I was in for a challenge this season when I, a one-man show, decided to expand from Southern California and expand our student section coverage to five more state, plus dividing California into two, Northern Cal and SoCal. Now we had some help with the advice from couple of people and to those two people, we thank you! We had six Top 40 Rankings, including four Top 40 Rankings in the SoCal region (San Diego, Inland Empire, Orange County and Los Angeles). That's 340 student sections that were ranked in their respected regions. When we began the football student section season, I didn't expect the Murrieta Valley Red Zone to be the top dawg in the West Coast. I didn't expect them to be in the top half of their league when it came to student sections. That is to be expected though as the Southwestern League is one of the best leagues when it comes to school spirit with the Great Oak Red Wave, Chaparral Green Fanatics, Temecula Valley Gold Zone, 2019-2020 Inland Empire Basketball Student Section Champs, the Murrieta Mesa Beast and the 2019 Inland Empire Football Student Section Champions, the Vista Murrieta Bronco Bleacher Creatures in their league. Seems like yesterday this one-man show was way over his head. Well, I was, but we made it to the end. It has come down to six student sections in the Western United States. We have 2 days of voting. VOTE and share with everyone you know and tell them to VOTE. Then have them rinse and repeat. This might be the only trustworthy pyramid idea ever! Most importantly, VOTE VOTE VOTE!!! THE TOP VOTE GETTER WILL BE THE WEST COAST NATIONAL FOOTBALL STUDENT SECTION OF 2021 and to make it official, THEY WILL GET A CHAMPIONSHIP BANNER FROM YOURS TRULY! Man I missed this. The home base of the Student Section Report has been SoCal since 2016. We've got to see amazing student sections and creative chants with odd themes. Our student section coverage started here in SoCal. Now this doesn't mean the end for the SoCal Football Student Section of the Year Champ, they will vote tomorrow for the West Coast National Football Student Section of the Year with the NorCal, Arizona, Nevada, Oregon and Washington Champ.
