41 Winners in 40 states this past week. The voting was not as insane as last week, but it was awesome to see 16,560 votes. We thank you for that! While we had 41 winners across the country, one Student Section came away with 1,035 votes in the Georgia region, the Houston County Hoco Locos. Hoco Locos had their homecoming night, which is so perfect with their Student Section name. Hoco Locos on Hoco game night! The Hoco Locos had a neon night as the Bears hosted Locust Grove on Friday, Sept.9. Whatever the Hoco Locos did must have worked because the Bears roared to s 68-12 victory. The Red Wave packs the house on any day of the week, for example; Thursday night. I've seen this Student Section in person and they're insane. Half the stadium is all theirs. The Red Wave hosted Shadow Hills and they came prepared just in case the Shadow Hills Dungeon would make an appearance. 36 Winners in 35 states this past week. The voting was insane, with 26,750 votes. We thank you for that! While we had 36 winners across the country, one Student Section came away with 1,431 votes in the state of Texas, the Allen Eagle Zone. The Eagle Zone had the toughest task in the country and that was to rattle St. John Bosco of Bellflower, California, the nation’s top-ranked team. Definitely a brutal task.  It was a tough one, but the Eagle Zone didn’t give up and supported their football all the way to the end with the Braves taking the victory.  The Eagle Zone went to the voting polls and narrowly beat out the Valencia Viking Nation of Southern California (1,246 votes), Murrieta Valley Red Zone of Southern California (1,127 votes), Franklin Flagship of...

This past winter, we expanded to 19 states.  Now, we are going to 40 states. This is still a one-man operation for the most part. I know that Student Sections have a lot of work to do to get the students to the games to cheer on their classmates and go along with the theme and make sure they don’t cause trouble. These student sections deserve recognition. We will kick off the Student Section season with Preseason Football Student Section Rankings. REMEMBER, this is a PREVIEW. It is merely a prediction.
