SoCal Regional Student Section of the Week: (01/30/2020)
Every week, we do the SoCal Student Section of the Week, but it got us thinking, with over 2000 schools in Southern California, why just name one winner?
That’s why we will acknowledge four regional winners and any nominees in those regions.
We bring you, the SoCal Student Section Regional Student Section of the Week…try saying that five times fast.
INLAND EMPIRE STUDENT SECTION OF THE WEEK
MURRIETA MESA BEAST: The quiet Beast erupted on Friday. Pun very much intended.
The Beast showed up on Friday for the Silent 7 where they would be quiet until the seventh point.
The Rams rushed from the gate and scored seven quick points, causing the student section to finally explode in noise and toilet paper.
Despite the tough loss to Great Oak of Temecula, the Beast delivered and will look to take the top spot in the Inland Empire Top 25 Basketball Student Section Rankings.
What an AMAZING night!! Congrats to our boys for the WIN against Vista 80-54!!! ?? pic.twitter.com/hgLif6r6Ev

Other IE Nominees: Great Oak Red Wave, Vista Murrieta Bronco Bleacher Creatures
LOS ANGELES STUDENT SECTION OF THE WEEK
PALOS VERDES RED TIDE: The Red Tide went nuts last week, including in their one sided victory over Centennial of Compton. If the Red Tide social media game can match the insane intensity in the stands, then we could be seeing a dynamite student section.
Other LA Nominees: Chaminade Cage of West Hills
ORANGE COUNTY STUDENT SECTION OF WEEK

Other OC Nominees: Rosary Rowdy Royals of Fullerton, Canyon Tribe of Anaheim, Villa Park Blue Crew, Sonora Jungle of La Habra, La Habra Clan, Orange Lutheran Code Red
SAN DIEGO STUDENT SECTION OF THE WEEK
SAN MARCOS BLUE CREW: San Marcos social media showed up big for the inner city rivalry against Mission Hills Growl Crowd of San Marcos.
I’ve seen the Growl Crowd and they’re an amazing student section and one of the best in San Diego, so this showdown was as good as advertised.
The Blue Crew packed the stands and kept control of their home and the game in the Knights 46-37 victory.
The Blue Crew leaders are tough ones and they can battle with the best in SoCal. If the students can match that social media magic, the Blue Crew would have a SoCal Student Section of the Week title by now in football and basketball.
