2018 Los Angeles Football Student Section Top 20 Rankings
This region might be the biggest one out of the four, well, it is.
Although the student sections are strong in the Los Angeles region, the social media is far behind from the other SoCal region. Not even close.
Manny, that was mean.
Yeah, maybe it was, but the idea for this website is to create acknowledgement for student sections doing great work as well as other things which will be discussed on the website soon.
Social media is going to play a massive massive factor if a student section wants to get more recognition than just the local spots.
Some student sections may disagree with the rankings, but if you think you have a better student section, you had all football season to post a few photos and a few videos of your student section on Twitter. It’s that easy.
Hopefully LA has a better showing.
We did however noticed the top student sections and hopefully they can influence the rest.
Let’s see who made the 2018 Los Angeles Football Student Section Top 20 Rankings and who is the champion for the football season.
1. BISHOP AMAT OF LA PUENTE (DAWGPOUND)
It sounds like the Dawgpound is back!
The Dawgpound had somewhat of an off year last season. Well, off year in their standards, but they came back and dominated the student section world!

No one rock more baby powder than the Dawgpound. The same could be said for the streamers!
The Dawgpound took the Week 2 SoCal Student Section of the Week award and was just the beginning for this student section and their Lancers, who took the Mission League title.
One of the best student sections in SoCal year after year take the top spot this year. The Bishop Amat Dawgpound is the 2018 Los Angeles Football Student Section of the year.
2. SOUTH HILLS OF COVINA (DAWGPOUND)
The Huskies are undefeated and in a way, so was their student section.
The Week 7 SoCal Student Section of the Week fills up the stadium and enjoys not only the football game, but the party they create in the stands.
Another great night at the South Hills game! Dawg Pound is out in force rooting for the Huskies tonight. #anothergreatdayincvusd @SouthHillsHigh @SouthHillsASB @SGVNSports @latsondheimer @shhscounseling_ pic.twitter.com/uSU2suQreg

The streamers, cheers and everything else made this season a special for the Dawgpound.
3. CHAMINADE OF WEST HILLS (THE CAGE)

The Cage always packs the house and supported the Eagles in a tough season for them this year. The sea of Orange in the stands was as bright as the blue field.
4. ST. JOHN BOSCO OF BELLFLOWER (THE TRIBE)

The Tribe has made some big improvement this season as they are enjoying another big season from their Braves. It helps when you get to finally get to watch your team in your brand new stadium.
5. ALEMANY OF MISSION HILLS (WARZONE)
The Warzone is always a fun group, but more so this season with their Warriors having a much better season in 2018. It’s not like The Warzone needed help, but i’m sure they’ll take it.
6. LOS ALTOS OF HACIENDA HEIGHTS (CONQUEROR CRAZIES)
From the tailgate, to the snack bar and the bleachers. The conqueror crazies always show up to support our football team.

The Conqueror Crazies have always been insane and they started their season off by taking the SoCal Student Section title for Week One. This sea of blue not only rocks their school color, but also rocks the blue baby powder.
7. VALENCIA OF MAGIC MOUNTAIN (VIKINGS NATION)
The Vikings Nation have enjoyed another Foothill League title from their Vikings. Let the purple reign at Valencia.
8. NOTRE DAME OF SHERMAN OAKS (CASTLE)
The Castle is enjoying a successful season from their Knights. All is well in this loud and rowdy Kingdom.
9. ST. BONAVENTURE OF VENTURA (GATES OF HEAVEN)
Probably one of the best names for a student section, The Gates of Heaven welcomed a playoff appearance from their Seraphs with cheers.
10. ST. FRANCIS OF LA CANADA (THE DUNGEON)
I’ve seen this student section before and this is a rowdy student section. They only get a small part of the stadium, so it is jammed packed. The Dungeon is a crazy loud student section.
11. OAKS CHRISTIAN OF WESTLAKE VILLAGE (LIONS DEN)
The Lions Den has every reason to fill the stands and go wild as their Lions are undefeated. Hopefully their student section shows up as they attempt to make a deep run in the CIF-SS Division I playoffs.
12. OXNARD (12TH MAN)
The Yellowjackets had an extra player on the field at all times and it was their student section.
The 12th Man went wild this season with the baby powder, the streamers and the cheers. It’s no reason they were named the SoCal Student Section of the Week for Week 8.
13. NEWBURY PARK (PANTHER PIT)

— VCS Preps (@vcspreps) September 8, 2018
The Panther Pit stayed strong and kept their strong student section status rolling in a tough Marmonte League for the Panthers.
14. LA SERNA OF WHITTIER (THE KINGDOM)
This is a very rowdy Student Section and with a consistent winner on the field, you expect the same from your students. The Kingdom is well run by a loud bunch.
15. WESTLAKE OF WESTLAKE VILLAGE WARRIORS
Westlake had a huge year this season and it gave their student section a big boost in filling up the stands.
16. WEST RANCH OF STEVENSON RANCH (THE PACK)
The Pack, well, packed the stands and it was loud all season, especially when the Wildcats started the season 8-0. One of the best seasons in West Ranch football history.
17. CAMARILLO (SCORPION CYCLONE)
The Scorpion Cyclone is taking advantage of another fantastic season from their Scorpion, but even then, the Cyclone always go nuts. Consider the great football year a reward for the dedication in the stands.
18. HIGHLAND OF PALMDALE (DAWGPOUND)
The Dawgpound has always been loud for their Bulldogs, but taking the Golden League title and going undefeated has pushed the Dawgpound over the edge. This student section is loud and proud.
19. BURBANK (DAWGPOUND)
The Dawgpound is a rowdy group. They get crazy loud and more so when the Bulldogs are winning.
20. SAUGUS (BLUE CREW)
The Blue Crew is always a loud and crazy bunch and nothing was different as they cheered on their Centurions in a tough battle in the Foothill League.
