2021-22 KERN/SAN LUIS OBISPO BASKETBALL STUDENT SECTION TOP 20 RANKINGS

  1. BAKERSFIELD CHRISTIAN BLUE CREW

Blue Crew fit with the best ones in this region, but they went over the top with their showing during the CIF-CS Division I Title game. That put them at the top as the Blue Crew of Bakersfield Christian is the Kern/SLO Basketball Student Section of the Year!

  1. GARCES MEMORIAL HERD OF BAKERSFIELD

A sea of Green and White, the Hard stampede through its competition. This is a loud and proud student section.

  1. FRONTIER OF BAKERSFIELD

The Frontier Student Section worked a solid social media game. Sometimes, social media marketing takes you a very long way and that’s what this student did.

  1. NIPOMO MOUNT OLYMPUS

This student section was solid. Not as large from what you see on social media, but they have been consistent in the stands and show it off on Instagram.

  1. ARROYO GRANDE ZOO

When it comes to this area, the Zoo is one of my favorites. It was the same great school spirit this winter as it was in the fall.

  1. ST. JOSEPH OF SANTA MARIA

St. Joseph is a solid student section, but we didn’t see much of them on social media. Perhaps they move up in the rankings if they showed off their school spiritl. 

  1. BAKERSFIELD DRILL CREW

Not only are they a solid student section, but Drill Crew is a awesome name for a student section. 2 birds, 1 stone.

  1. CENTENNIAL RED ZONE OF BAKERSFIELD

The Red Zone is a crazy and rowdy student section. Why go to a party when the party is inside the Red Zone?!

  1. PIONEER VALLEY JUNGLE OF SANTA MARIA

We’ve always been told to proceed with caution when entering the Jungle and it is no different when you try to battle with Pioneer Valley. Great student section.

  1. SHAFTER PRIDE 

The Pride showed it off a bit this year. Sometimes a little goes a long way and it helped Shafter finish in the Top 10!
