2025 DISTRICT OF COLUMBIA FALL TOP 10 STUDENT SECTION PRESEASON RANKINGS

In 2015, yours truly began covering Student Sections in Orange County, California. We expanded to Southern California in 2017 and in 2021, we added four more states and added 15 more states. We went to 40 states two years ago. We went to all 50 states in winter of 2023 and now we add our friends from the North in Canada on top of dividing Texas into two regions, similar to what we did with California. No one has ever done that before…until now! This is still a one-man operation for the most part, but we have some help with some partners on Instagram like good friends at OC Student Sections and Stadium Geeks with help from Maryland Student Section Rater, NorCal Student Sections and many more. The school year and the fall sports season is underway, but for us, the Student Section season is underway! We are so excited to kickoff the new Student Section season. This is my 10th season covering Student Sections and my 5th season covering the US and the hype keeps getting better and better. We have four states that are kicking off this week and have 21 more states kicking off next week! We are going to be busy next week! MARCHING BAND/COLOR GUARD Q&A: DORMAN OF SOUTH CAROLINA

With the Student Section in off-season mode, we look to put our focus on the Marching Bands and Color Guards! This website obviously put the focus on the Student Sections as it is the only reason we stay active, but many of these Student Sections have some solid bands that give them the energy or at the least share that insane energy. They play the right music to keep the hype up, the interact with the Student Section and the work they put week after week to prep for the game is impressive and that deserves some recognition. We did do a Marching Band/Color Guard Q&A called “I’m with the Band Q&A” (not my greatest title, I know!) with some Bands in Southern California in 2019 when we only covered Student Sections in SoCal, but with a...
