We continue our Final Rankings in the 41 states we covered this football season. To say I’m overwhelmed with the work that comes along with this is an understatement. We had Student Section of the Week for over 10 weeks and that helped us determine who had the best Student Section and which one wanted it more. Just showing up in large crowds isn’t enough. It might fool other outlets that don’t cover Student Sections, but not us. We have to know how bad you want and marketing is key.  You will see top-notch Student Sections miss out at the top spot, but we kept saying it over and over and over again, in order to be considered number one, you have to win the Student Section of the Week title. Before we announce our National Football Student Section of the Week, let’s congratulate our top five voter-getters, the John's Creek Gladiator Army (Georgia), Colony Titan Army (Southern California), Liberty Uproar (Arizona), Clovis West (Northern California) and Williams Field Red Rage (Arizona). But, it was the Redondo Union Flock of Southern California! This is a Student Section that hovered outside the Top 10 or Top 15 in the Los Angeles Region, but they have not only been battling for the top spot in the LA area, but will definitely battle for a National Ranking! The Flock showed up, business as usual, on Friday when the Seahawks hosted Mira Costa. While it was a tough loss, the Flock still showed up and packed the house! Before we announce our National Football Student Section of the Week, let’s congratulate our top five voter-getters, the Mountain Ridge Army (Arizona), Beech Patrol (Tennessee), Wakefield Wackos (North Carolina), Cy Creek Blue Crew (Texas) and Wake Forest Crazies (North Carolina). But, it was the Theodore of Alabama, who is one of the best Student Sections in the state, so this shouldn't come as a surprise that it's Student Section follows them to the top. It's just impressive since the state of Alabama has several big time Student Sections! Before we announce our National Football Student Section of the Week, let’s congratulate our top five voter getters, the West Ranch Pack (Southern California), Vista Murrieta Bronco Bleacher Creatures (Southern California), Eastlake Red Sea (Washington) and Cabot Panther Pit (Arkansas). But, it was the Carlsbad Loud Crowd of Southern California, who went all out in their 42-7 victory over San Marcos. The Loud Crowd won three straight San Diego Football Student Section of the year titles before finishing second in San Diego last year. The Loud Crowd is looking to get back on top, but it won't be easy with a few other top-notch Student Sections in San Diego.
